Where are those particles from
from the newer SRB rocket.
// --- FX definitions --- fx_exhaustFlame_yellow = 0.0, -18.2673, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, active fx_exhaustSparks_yellow = 0.0, -18.2673, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, active // fx_exhaustLight_yellow = 0.0, -11.2673, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, active fx_smokeTrail_medium = 0.0, -11.2673, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, active
this is the important one
fx_exhaustSparks_yellow = 0.0, -18.2673, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, active
all you have to do is copy it and change the -18.2673 to the coordinate from the target engine. It's pretty cool. edit: page ninja'd
Where are those particles from
It's an effect that can be added to engines. The stock SRB's have them in the newest versions. Apparently it's ice falling off, which is silly because ice doesn't form on SRB's. [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] Somewhat ninja'd.
C7 Development Blog UPDATE With inside pod images: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=13542.0
New to this forum but not the game. :downs: Very excited about .16 :dance: My current personal challenge is to land on the Mun, then take off and land on Minimus, then return safely to Kearth. :suicide: So far I have killed 9 Kerbals, stranded 6 in space and caused the largest on platform explosion I have ever seen. (put something in the wrong stage... wups.) Anyway, cheers.
Haven't seen the noyuz in a while. Does it work correctly in the newer versions?
I'm not sure actually, but I can check later if nobody else has a response.
so i deleted all but two novapunch parts and now this is happening i don't really wanna delete my persistence file but i guess i'll have to :(
reinstall novapunch parts delete the ship using it delete novapunch
reinstall novapunch parts delete the ship using it delete novapunch
i guess that would work but the problem with novapunch is that it has so many fucking parts that it eats up all my 4 gigs of ram (yeah yeah upgrading soon) and slows my computer down to crawl for 15 minutes so i don't want to do that again
KSP really needs an ingame method of saying "Yeah, this ship is gone but I literally couldn't give two shits let me play the game already"
i guess that would work but the problem with novapunch is that it has so many fucking parts that it eats up all my 4 gigs of ram (yeah yeah upgrading soon) and slows my computer down to crawl for 15 minutes so i don't want to do that again
send your persistence files+saves to someone with novapunch/enough ram ?? (not me)
Right, so I just had a dream where I somehow got a massive stock-part rocket into solar orbit using nothing but a single stage of three SRBs that were literally hanging behind the rocket. :v:
I could do it with my 18 GBs of ram but I don't want to install the horrible shit called novapunch
So currently I have 29 crane trucks sitting around my KSC because my trucks keep falling over when trying to pick up a scrapped jet, because the crane itself shifts it's center of gravity and causes the truck to tip over. Eventually I'm going to need a bigger truck to move all these trucks.

Oh lord the smoothing (or it could just be the normals).
More like vertex errors and inconsistent textures out the ass

it's only an early version, though.
it seems really high-poly for what it is also will the windows work?
Needs more plywood and duct tape.
Duct tape needs to be added to the parts list. If not on the outside, then for sure on the list for things inside for IVAs. Jeb could use some to get Bill and Bob to shut up so he can enjoy the [del]flight[/del] crash.
I was aiming to get to the Mun, unfortunately I sent my guys on an escape trajectory. fuck.
So, stopping quickly is really difficult in a jetpack. Now I know. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Pb8gY.jpg[/t] Good thing I had a command pod to slow me down. Had.

I was aiming to get to the Mun, unfortunately I sent my guys on an escape trajectory. fuck.
I do now know, however, that my craft is 100% capable of flying to the Mun.
I do now know, however, that my craft is 100% capable of flying to the Mun.
To infinity! And beyond! Makes me wonder if they are going to add rations to the list of things you have to drag with you. I have a trio that's been in Kerbol orbit for 763 days. (Hoping to intersect Kearth eventually and get home.) By now, when I switch to them, I should see three little skeletons in space suits. Fake Edit Day 763, beat Bob at tic tac toe... again. I think his mind is gone. But at least he isn't screaming anymore.

Speaking of possible parts, wouldn't it be cool if they made it so that Kerbals could be placed (strapped) to the actual rocket itself in the VAB/Plane hangar? It'd make for some great [del]reentry experiments[/del] spacewalks.
I figured a problem with my mechjeb, that I hadn't noticed, at random times in my flight it switches ASAS on randomly, meaning I can't just "fire and forget", but actually have to sit there. Do I actually need an ASAS module? Can I forgo that and just use mechjeb itself as an ASAS module?
They should make that instead of spawning inside your new rocket you actually have to walk to the launch pad.
Walk to the rocket? Yuck. With my luck my Kerbalnaut would fall over as soon as he took his first step. At least that's what my rockets do. A nice addition would be a warning light in the VAB that lets you know that your rocket isn't stable.
that would suck. [editline]1st July 2012[/editline]
Walk to the rocket? Yuck. With my luck my Kerbalnaut would fall over as soon as he took his first step.
