I wonder if it will be possible to create unmanned satellites that have a 1/2 man crew when going into orbit, but once in orbit the crew will EVA to another ship and return to Kerbin that way, leaving the satellite in orbit.
I'd like some folding wings, so I could create a sailing capsule.
Anyone know of a mod which has this?
Damned robotics + default spaceplane parts.

I prefer using radials anyway.

It'll be possible, even if you need to start with 3 in each pod. Just have one/two of them leave before takeoff from each ship. Then there's room in the second pod for everyone in the first.
This should be what we see flying through the air whenever a rocket explodes.
I love the capsule, but is the parachute-part going to change?
It doesn't really fit with the capsule..
We are doing a massive design overhaul on all our stock parts now, but as you may imagine, it's a monstrously large job. That means that it's quite likely the 0.16 update will be on something of an awkward middle-of-the-road phase, where some parts are already done in the new style, while others still look the same as before.
Things should get better again on the 0.17 update, when we hope all the parts will be done again.

Due to it being buried in the past interwebs, I'm asking my question again, how many Kerbals can EVA (of the same ship) at a time?
Well, as many as the ship had in it to begin with. There is no theoretical upper limit to how many kerbals you can have in EVA at any time. You can't EVA kerbals that are not in the vessel though, so if your ship only holds three crew, it would be pretty odd if you could EVA a fourth.

I think we all agree the Bill, Jebidiah, and Bob, are a major influence in the game, and we all/most have notice they are the only ones who have orange Space suits in their camera views, but my question is, "Are Bill, Jeb, and Bob going to have their orange suits during EVA sessions as well?"
This is a tricky subject, that we still have to decide on. On one hand, it wouldn't be realistic to EVA in your launch suit, which in theory isn't designed for "outdoor" use. On the other, our three intrepid kerbals have become famous in their orange suits, and I think most people would expect them to look different from the others, even in EVAs.
I think what we can do as a middle-ground solution is to create a special orange-and-white repaint of the new EVA suit texture, so you can recognize them among the others, without having them go outside on their launch suits.
That will need to wait a while though. Right now, it's a lot easier if everyone looks the same, because then we don't need to hold separate 'prefabs'. If we did, every time we tweaked some parameter, we'd have to do the same for the other copies, and that would get quite annoying after a while. This is the sort of thing you leave for last.

Speaking of cones, someone should make the Soviet N1. If it already hasn't been made.
Needs to have random explosions and instability for historic authenticity.
Seriously though an LK lander would be pretty cool, I always had an erection for soviet space craft design.

Sounds like the average KSP rocket to me. :v:
I've never noticed that Jeb, Bob and Bill have orange suits.
Usually I just see Green faces screaming.
How's this look for an airlock?

Pretty.
Hey cool my video is on the KSP page.

Right I forgot this wasn't orbiter
In that case an N1 would just be a guaranteed death sentence, maybe a form of capital punishment for Kerbals :v:

The static fire hold down test is "about a month following launch complex certification, which is close." The test flight is another month or more after then.
So, at least another three months.

"Quick correction-static fire hold down test about a month after pad certification. Test flight about a month to six weeks after that. Sorry"
There will be a pad certification soon, a static-fire hold-down test about a month after that and the flight will be 4-6 weeks after the static test. So once the pad gets certified, 8-10 weeks.

I made it to the north pole with this plane.

I successfully landed and coasted to 11 m/s, but then somehow started speeding up, so I thought I might be going slow enough to just raise the landing gear and grind to a halt, but instead I exploded.
Command module survived though

Overall I traveled 1,052,809 meters.

I took upon the task of creating a rocket powered land speeder to drive around the world.
I ended up somehow rocketing off a mountain when I left the acceleration on and went to get a sandwich and flew to the northern ice cap. A sad turn of events when we were unable to land and crashed into the ground, killing the entire crew.
Turns out it took less time to reach that mountain than I thought.
Wow :suicide:
I would post you guys a photo of 0.16 but I am afraid of getting ejected out.
