I just remembered you've seen that other thread.
I just pre ordered and when I download it, it downloads as winrar, and when I open it with winrar, it says its corrupt or a unknown format. What do?
nvm, read the wiki.
nvm again, I still need help. I cleared my cache, used two different browsers, and its still giving me that error.
Uhh, lemme make a mirror.

Kosmos Spacecraft Design Bureau
Kosmos, the latest addition to the Kerbal Space Program's stable of unstable contractors, is the product of two things- a grand vision of the future, and a lack of planning for today. Originally attracting investors throughout Kerbin for their promise of "permanent manned-facilities" in orbit, this ragtag group of what Jeb likes to call "college-jockeys" produced enormously heavy hunks of science for years before anyone in the investment game realized that no rockets available could propel them to orbit. The company then quickly went bust, and it disappeared from the public's knowledge. Years later, long after rockets became available that could lift heavy loads, the Kosmos company's warehouse was discovered fully intact and undisturbed, and the new KSP was able to purchase the entire company (including the engineers, who were found living in the warehouse subsisting on tube-food and several types of rodent!) The station parts themselves were sold cheaper than the metal they were made from. Freshly employed and entirely grateful, the Kosmos engineers strive to continue to not live in a warehouse.

Kosmos VA/TKS

The VA is a capsule designed for a crew of three. It may seem a bit rough around the edges, but it's a proven design that is safe, reliable, and very practical. It features all the necessities of a respectable capsule- ASAS, RCS, an escape tower, and triple parachutes. Now with the release of the VA/TKS pack, you can attach the Functional Cargo Block, complete with solar panels and RCS tanks, to the back of your VA capsule.

Who's behind all this?
Kosmos is a project started by Normak, CardBoardBoxProcessor, and Xemit, who have worked together to recreate the innovative yet often forgotten Soviet/Russian space station programs, including the Salyut, the Almaz, and Mir, as well as several other smaller bits and pieces. Normak started the project by modeling the station parts in Sketchup as a quick mockup, and promoting the idea among members of the Facepunch forum. cBBp took it from there, modeling the parts in detail and texturing, producing much better quality parts than anyone could have hoped for. Xemit got on board recently by volunteering to create the solar panels and radiator arrays. As of 2/17/12, the VA capsule and TKS Functional Cargo Block have been completed and uploaded, and now the group's focus is on the station parts (Although there has been some talk among us of future plans beyond those, so stay tuned!)

Thanks, that worked.
Does anyone remember what version the game was on when V1 of this thread was made?
Does anyone remember what version the game was on when V1 of this thread was made?
I think it was one of the 0.8 versions, but don't quote me on that; I'm not entirely sure.

I'm pretty sure about this as well, I know I started playing on 0.8-something.
0.7.3 as far as I remember.
(First public release)
Yup. I remember .7.3
We couldn't pause the game then.
Yup. I remember .7.3

Oh wow, I don't remember that, but I certainly remember that I didn't have symmetry when I started playing.

Well you could pause it, but it cause a huge g-force spike and particle effect bugs.

Remember how fuel drained wrong? And when almost nobody actually knew if you could reach orbit? :tinfoil:
Well, I can say we are working through the weekend, but actually releasing an experimental on Monday might be a little too optimistic.
But soon, guys, soon.
I should warn you though, this update was pretty huge, and I'm trying to mentally prepare for a perfect storm of bugs here.
Cheers
Cannot wait!
Game is only 7 months old and already have nostalgia.

Experimental will cause the thread to fucking explode.
I remodelled the solar array. What do you guys think?
