Fucking patcher servers, let me download my damn game. [editline]21st July 2012[/editline]
Fucking patcher servers, let me download my damn game.
Wow as soon as I post this the patcher finally connects to the update servers. THERE IS A GOD [editline]21st July 2012[/editline] And then it jumped back to step 2. I have proven the existence of Satan.
Can you get more than one Kerbal out at a time per mission?
they forgot to scale up the advanced SAS... oops! or is this just me?
Same for normal SAS, and a few other things. I'm sure we'll get new scale ones eventually.

Can someone upload the new patcher? pretty sure thats legal, and Im getting that unzip error like a few others of us.
After the second corrupted archive I'm starting to wish that the store also had an option to download via a torrent client.
Can someone upload the new patcher? pretty sure thats legal, and Im getting that unzip error like a few others of us.
I would also appreciate such an act.
The new patcher isn't out i don't think.
Is there an alternate way to patch? I'm behind a proxy at the moment and the patcher doesn't seem to like that one bit
I would also appreciate such an act.
Second. I've just been refreshing the KSP page while crying and eating ice cream, and asking myself why life is so cruel. [editline]20th July 2012[/editline]
The new patcher isn't out i don't think.
NOOOOOOOO WHYYYYYYYYYYY STOP TESTING MY LOVE!
I am now going to negate my luck by posting that my current download hasn't failed yet and has made it to the 60% mark.
What I would do is upload everything except ksp.exe but since that was modified as well, ughhh just wait u guise!
Got it downloaded and working! Just keep retrying, it works eventually.
[img_thumb]http://www.niggaupload.com/images/YTKig.png[/img_thumb] I'd say this update is pretty decent.
How the fuck does it download 100% of the patch and then says it can't connect to the patch servers?
I wanted to pre-order/donate/buy KSP (whatever it is), but everyone is nuking the website with the patch. I can't even get it to load :(
WAIT A DAY GUYS In other news, Damion rayne is dumb at times. "lets post in every single suggestion and bug report thread letting them know its been moved, so all of them get bumped so you can't find the thread you are looking for" [editline]20th July 2012[/editline] Some old quotes from the dev thread. Will be relevant.
I've been working on this today. Even though IVAs aren't going to be complete for 0.16, we still need to deal with how crews are assigned to parts, because even without a first-person cockpit view, there needs to be a minimal amount of support for crew transfers now, as EVAs pretty much consist of transferring crew from one part (Command Pod) to another (EVA suit), and switching focus to it.

We are doing a massive design overhaul on all our stock parts now, but as you may imagine, it's a monstrously large job. That means that it's quite likely the 0.16 update will be on something of an awkward middle-of-the-road phase, where some parts are already done in the new style, while others still look the same as before. Things should get better again on the 0.17 update, when we hope all the parts will be done again.
So I just landed a space plane for the first time ever on the Mun, and I celebrate by getting out of the cockpit and doing some jetpacking. Little did I know, the brakes disengage when you get out. I parked the plane on a hill. As you could imagine, the plane starts rolling away at a pretty good speed, but I think nothing of it since I've got a jetpack and I can catch up to it, right? Wrong. It keeps going, maybe 20-30m/s, and I try grabbing the ladder on the cockpit which is on the very front of the plane. I missed it my first 3 tries, in which my kerbal kept hitting the plane and ragdolling and falling behind. I try again for the fourth time, and I missed. Again. Only this time, he ragdolls and falls underneath the front landing gear. This pops up the plane, which promptly comes back down to the ground and disintegrates. RIP Jebediah Kerman, you were forever destined to be stuck on the Mun. [editline]21st July 2012[/editline] [t]http://localhostr.com/files/I1EWAHl/spaceplane%20remains.png[/t] The remains. All that was left was the cockpit, one gas tank, and a few wing pieces.
MechJeb updated http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=14066.0 http://svn.mumech.com/KSP/trunk/Releases/MechJeb_1.9.zip
*Fixed MechJeb conflict with ASAS *Fixed warp to Pe ignoring the time *Added keep altitude and heading options to Instrument Landing System, and added a new automatic landing feature (beta) *Changes for KSP 0.16 compatibility *New Autom8 module, with a Lua console (beta)
They didn't scale up the parts. AHG.

So looks like we dont have cockpit view yet.
That's all you need.
Maybe someday we can get handheld welders so we can MacGyver our way out of situations like that.
Maybe someday we can get handheld welders so we can MacGyver our way out of situations like that.
Good luck picking up an entire rocket.
made it to the mun! finally
Warp feels REALLY different. reminds me of when I first played the game and attempted a moon landing, too much fast forward and came in at 400m/s. (I just tried my first munlanding for 0.16 and thats exactly what happened also) like, the biggest warp is insanely fast now, while 100x and 1000x feel like they are, in comparison to the old, 500x 3000x.
My patcher can't connect to the servers :suicide:
How do you control the new ladders?
How do you control the new ladders?
Do you mean extending them? Right-click them midflight.
