Guess we'll just have to wait until it's updated.
The landing was crazy sketchy, the rocket stage broke flipping the lander up in the air and I had to safely land it with rcs
For anyone having problems with the RCS and SAS here's rescaled parts:

how do you get on the site?!?
God damnit, this went horrible
landing from orbit
One of the crew want to take a look out the hatch, he gets sucked out and is as good as dead while flying away
Parachute activated
it opens, but rips of the adv sas and itself, leaving the pod screwed
everyone dies
Patcher worked for me. Realized that I didn't have a clean install of KSP. Game crashes when loading the old parts.
Now I can't connect to the patch server again.
Going to go kill myself now. Later.

Thats P cool, too bad I wasted them
It's cool that they released for the 20th, but I wish they'd waited a couple of days.
I'm going to spend tonight and all of tomorrow wanting to play it, but unable to because the entire world is also trying to download the update at the same time.

Same here. Sucks that the brief moment it was up and I bought the game, it's back down and now I can't even download it

Delaying the release wouldn't stop that.
Delaying the release wouldn't stop that.
But the period of being teased with an undownloadable update would be during the week, when I'm too busy to play anyway.
I probably won't get a chance to play the new version until next weekend.

Good for you? Why ruin it for everybody else?
-snip-
I just thought that a release on Monday would kind of ease the bottleneck, because less people would be trying to download it all at the same time.
For a lot of people I expect it may as well have been released on Monday. How long were the servers overloaded last time?
So are boosters more important now? It seems that liquid fueled engines are so much more inefficient at low altitudes now
It seems the opposite for me
I made a 2m-3m saturn 5.. weighs 160T, and stage separation is pretty accurate. 2nd stage brings it just to the brink of orbit, and 3rd stage completes it and has enough fuel to get it into orbit on the mun.

I had some trouble getting off the ladder smoothly, sometimes the kerbal falls into the ladder or falls onto the ground.
My patcher is apparently broken, so no update until I can redownload.
THIS IS THEM PUNISHING ME FOR MY CLAIRVOYANCE :tinfoil:
I tried re-entering with Jeb hanging on to a ladder on the side of the rocket.
Worked fine until he was suddenly propelled twice as fast as the rocket into the ground from ~15km altitude.
RIP Thrillmaster

I was about to board as well in my rocket, suddenly i was flinged up with massive speed, there was a 30 kilometer difference from the rockets original tragectory, and jebs trajectory,

Made it!

They need a folding lunar rover that you can hook to the side of the craft.
Wait can you use mod parts?
Are some of the old vanilla parts still at the old size for some people? Is it meant to be like that or am I experiencing a bug?
They're meant to be like that, they're currently upscaling and remodeling every part
I havent played this game in months or checked on it, to see that you can walk around the moon now is awesome! Gunna get back into this I think.

Good luck downloading it if you don't already have it.

i won't ever land correctly. doesn't help that none of the legs are long enough for the landing liquid engine

Use the longer legs. The ones in my picture above. They're stock.
