The rocket I'm using has a 1/3 chance of making it. It fails 2/3 of the time. They'll make it, I can feel it :v:
don't ask me how but i tried to land on the mun but left time acceleration on too long and ended up using the mun as a slingshot to minmus. i was trying to land a crew of 3 on the mun and this thing wouldn't make it to minmus the traditional way anyways. like enough fuel for mun and that's about it.
i landed near my other ship on minmus and EVA'd over to it... then like an idiot i hit end flight.
time to put more kerbals in orbit.

Mechjeb only gets you 10 km off and all you have is rcs wobbles
I got to 97.7% and the patcher froze

Landed 300 meters away. Through a freak ladder accident, Jeb popped just as he was about to board. So close, yet so far away.

That's only half of the lander, the other half was jettisoned earlier.

The other half also doubles as a 2nd stage upper booster. It's the stage that is used the most.

These ladders are amazing.
Shit, the main crew is in orbit and with the big pod + asas + parachute structure, i will need to rendevouz and save them.

Without the reinforcement struts, I don't think it's possible to land on the moon with vanilla parts.

What packs are those? I know you have KOSMOS, Rovers and Mechjeb but you seem to have other things as well (most notably those panels on your rover).

how do you deploy the ladder?
Right click on it, hit expand.
Which, just in case you didn't know, is also how you can check how much EVA fuel you have left.
hopefully the ui for that will be patched up to not suck

I've already tried that. Doesn't seem to let me select it at all.

They need to open whenever you hit G, or at least have the option to bind a key to them.
Is there an analogue to the HBNM keys for RCS to thruster pack controls? Jeb just died because I couldn't figure out how to go up and get him back inside the command module :c

translate is wasd, rotate is spacebar to rotate to camera lock
