Is there a difference between the pre-order version and the demo currently?
Is there a difference between the pre-order version and the demo currently?
Not until 0.14 comes out
Is there a difference between the pre-order version and the demo currently?
You should probably pre-order it soon though, as the prices will go up once they release 0.14.
KSP works in Windows 8. Woo
KSP works in Windows 8. Woo
I've had Windows 8 ever since the developer preview came out :v:
Metro UI is very good by the way.

Now dock to-- Oh... :sigh:

:fap:
Right, let's make a to-do list for 0.14 * Large Orbital Collider * SPACE STATION :fap: * MUNAR SPACE STATION :fap: x2
the only problem I can see is if people slightly edit parts etc it'll wreck their station for everyone else
Penis station is being rolled out to the pad.
HarvesteR's post in the dev thread doesn't seem to match entirely up with the tweet:
Well, more news now here: I've been working on more details of the persistence system (the details keep on coming), and solved a couple more issues here. Restarting a flight is now possible by quickloading while in game (if for some reason you don't like your flight), or after you crash as an option on the flight-end screen. The 'Restart Flight' option is only available though, if you've launched the ship on the same flight session. Otherwise it makes very little sense, because there is no clear starting point when you resume a flight in progress. The quickload is always reset when the game goes into the flight scene though, so both work for a restart from the launchpad, and quickload works to restart from when you entered the flight. I also set up some restrictions here to prevent you from doing a save-and-exit if you're in a situation where the game state can't be saved (like in an atmosphere or under acceleration). Saving in these circumstances isn't possible for the very same reasons you can't time warp in those cases. We assume that all saved files will be potentially propagated through the rails system (as they are on the tracking station), and as we all know, the rails system can't process accelerations other than that of gravity, so it makes more sense to not allow you to save right there than to save a ship with it's engines running and not have it accelerate. This means the flight scene reflow, as I called it, is pretty much done. That leaves us with finishing up the update tool, some compatibility checks, the vessel switching and the tracking station, a picture of which I was just able to upload: So, let's get to it Cheers
The thread is going nuts with people screaming at clouds, not realizing that there's always been clouds in the launchpad/VAB overview. [editline]22nd February 2012[/editline] Wow how is this late MC3craze :v:
I'm expecting it late tomorrow or early Thursday.

stations are hardly possible with out docking. must change that to space fleet.
stations are hardly possible with out docking. must change that to space fleet.
Nor is it really logical. I'd prefer to launch a station piece by piece each in their own nice packaging, as opposed to the huge honking thing being barely lifted into orbit as a whole.

GUYS I GOT IT Launch rockets with each little part on it put them in orbit right next to each other. I'll take my Nobel prize.
I want to be able to launch an orbiting Vehicle Assembly Building so I can construct ships in orbit, dammit! >:[!

Since 0.14 is going to be released in a bit, please send me a message of what part packs you want in the facepunch Collaborative Spess Station Pack. I will post a list of the mod that you guys have in the pack, and then we will move on to the next stage, building the stations with the suggested mods/packs. Also for a summary of what the FPCSSP is, view this link http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1152073?p=34251052&highlight=#post34251052
K/W Challenger, it easy to use.
like boeing proposed for the shuttle?
waitwhat?
K/W Challenger, it easy to use.
Challenger, CardBoardBox's pack, Novapunch remix, DERP co (for the habitation modules), and the probodobyne pack, Agree if this is a good list, and reply to the post for any suggestions for more packs, and other things. Edit: Also, the node.

DERP's files are no longer available from the creator afaik. I can make a mirror.
