The habitat module is very useful.. I just finished unloading 2 astronauts, now there are 5 in the station.

If you mean the mechjeb menu, after you've detached the other vehicle, go to the space centre and reselect the vehicle you want to control.
Does anybody have a link for whatever mod the solar panels are from?
Does anybody have a link for whatever mod the solar panels are from?
http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7178.0 this is a great pack for panels , radiators , and other spacejunk that you can slap onto your rocket
Huh, what do you know. The ladder on this tank thing next to the launch pad is an actual climbable ladder.

I wonder if there are any more ladders around KSC...
Oh man that is a much better/more dangerous viewing point for bill bob and jeb to hang out on
Finally bought.
Update error, all day erry day.
Guess I'll play .15 for a while.
I can't wait for docking. I'm tempted to learn C# just so I can write the mod.
Building massive space stations in parts and sending each part up on its own rocket to fit together whilst in orbit.
Hey does anybody have tips for building space planes?

0.16 Release - Now available as a full download at the Store!
Hi,
As promised, we’ve now made the 0.16 release available as a full downloadable package at the KSP Store. You can download it after logging in with a paid account.
This should solve all issues for those who were unable to patch their install from 15.2 to 16.0, and also fix several of the reported issues where some files appeared to be corrupted after a patch. (If you noticed any strange behaviour, please try a complete reinstall from the new releases)
The Mac version also includes the Mono Framework Runtime 2.10 installer, which is required to run the soon-to-be-released update tool. You probably won’t need it right now, as the new patcher isn’t released yet, but it’s good to have it in any case.
Again, we apologize for the troubles from the first release, and hope everyone finds the new release worth the wait. :)
Happy Launchings,
The KSP Dev Team.

more boosters.
It only says .15 on the store download page.
I finally got a working SSTO Spaceplane capable of a stable moon landing.
Takeoff at 65 degrees off the runway.
[Img_thumb]http://puu.sh/L9vL[/Img_thumb]
Main engines switched off at 32 km, 30% fuel remaining in the center tank for landing back at Kerbin. 90 km orbit achieved.

Mid transfer to the Mun.

Mun arrival and brake.

It's showing up for me. Try clearing your cache and opening the page again. If you're on Firefox, Ctrl+F5 should clean the cache and let it regenerate.

oops
accidentally screwed up my mun>kerbin in mechjeb, now orbiting sun waiting for mechjeb to TKI back to kerbin
Right, so I spent the last two and a half hours trying to make a proper Moon base, and did so so it contains 23 people.
And then after those two hours of trying to get into orbit and then onto the moon, I realize I can't get into the extra capsules because the hatches were all facing inward.
:suicide:
flip the parts
theres a cfg edit somewhere on this page

I know, but it would mess with the entire system below the lander, and I'm just going to give up for tonight.
plane stuff
please teach me how to make a plane / control a plane that doesn't flip over on take off.
Think I might wait till all the mods are updated. kinda wish there were small parts and big parts. but all the small part mods for some reason go back to big sizes when they are on the launch pad then blows up.
please teach me how to make a plane / control a plane that doesn't flip over on take off.
Balance the weight. While you will never have a perfectly balanced plane (due to the change of the center of gravity from the burning of fuel), you can get pretty close.
If the plane tips back (which is usually the case), move the wings a bit forward, and vice versa.
How do you guys do orbit rendezvous? Best I could was about 3km from my space station. I had to take the jetpack on a 1 minute ride across. In Orbiter I was used to the docking HUD showing me in which direction I was heading so i could easily point in the right direction and cancel out any relative speed.
In ksp it's kind of hard pointing towards another ship.
simple, place yourself in an orbit 1km below the target's orbit, and wait. the craft at the lower orbit will eventually catch up to the higher (slower) orbit. from there it should be fairly easy. I was hoping they would add an orbiter-like control scheme.. especially MFDs that support plugins.
please teach me how to make a plane / control a plane that doesn't flip over on take off.
I had to shift the Kosmos LH2 tanks around a bit to get the balance right.
Second is if you have too much lift at the nose of the plane it likes to flip, especially if it's unbalanced. If it flips, try deleting the wings at the front/moving the wings backward. Most of my planes end up having a center of balance very close to the engine. Basically you don't want the wings to be too far in front of the center of balance or they turn into airbrakes and you loose pitch control.
Try to avoid using AdvSAS too, it can cause more problems that it solves when it comes to planes, especially when you want to land on the moon using RCS and it dumps the entire tank because you can't tell it to ignore RCS thrusters/isn't smart enough not to completely spaz out the entire time because you're rotating faster than 0.0000001 degrees/sec. Mechjeb has the same problem.
I can't figure out how to use PLF shroud parts for the life of me
[editline]Edit:[/editline]
This isn't funny :(
Anyone have a link to the crew storage part?
NVM got it http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=10138.0
Damn it, I can't download Kosmos because the dropbox link is 509ing. (Too much traffic so they shut it down). Anyone have a mirror?
just wondering, Is it possible to copy a bunch of parts from 1.5 (the original stock parts with the original size) and put them into ksp 1.6 alongside the big parts? Im currently renaming all the folders and the names of the parts and then going to put them in with the 1.6 parts
inacio resized them all already
i always thought the original parts were meant to stay that size
[editline]24th July 2012[/editline]
to fit with the mk1 pod that only holds 1 crew and that
