I don't understand this game.
Everything can work absolutely fine for a long time, then just collapse and fall apart for no reason?
These are super strength decouplers too, so it's definitely a bug.
Plus, radial RCS tanks just fall straight off the fuel tank, blowing it up?
0.16 is singlehandedly the worst update for KSP, ever. Sure, EVA's are cool, but it breaks most mods, they didn't bother resizing their OWN STOCK PARTS, and it's jam-packed with structural bugs.
I don't know what weird ass rockets you are making but its certainly not the decouplers.
Methinks you are adding too much thrust onto a really long rocket.

Post screenshots so we can help or stop posting please.

Literally two parts of this post have been reported before and only half of one part happens commonly AFAIK. Things often collapse on the launch pad after restarting flights because of something bad with the checkpoint system. Going to the VAB/SPH and relaunching there fixes it. Automatic scaling has also failed for some people very rarely.
The rest of those problems are your problems. There have been, as of yet, no other sightings of your problems ever happening ever. I'm sorry I can't help you better and I hope you fix it soon, but either tell us your specs/config/specific details or deal with it yourself.
I finally got my first orbital station into a 200km orbit!

It's piloted and maintained by Thomman Kerman, Henry Kerman and Bilby Kerman, and contains a command module, living module and science modules on the sides.
However, my Apoapsis and Periapsis keep on being really jittery and keep on getting a bit higher and lower, anyone know what's causing it or how to fix it?
Edited:
The Apoapsis and the Periapsis keep on taking turns between falling to about 199,990m and 230,000m. It's starting to happen very rapidly. Should I be worried?
Why don't parts snap to where you CLICK, not to some bullshit predefined location?
I want to place some very large boosters much, much lower on the rocket, but can't, because the mouse snaps to the lower end of the booster.
Having them where they are means that on stage separation the next stage just smashes into them.
And yes, these boosters are absolutely necessary.
And no, you can't use any kind of separators with them because then my bounce around on the separators, smashing backwards and forwards.

Turn off 'Snap to Angles' next to symmetry?

Does adding struts not help? Provided the boosters are on radial decouplers, connecting the boosters to each other stops the rockets pitching about and connecting boosters to the main fuselage at the same time stops movement entirely. And please don't say your struts fly into the core of Kerbin on launch or something.

Turns out that spamming ionengines and solarpanels gets you a pretty badass station, dropped the last rocket stage on a high suborbital trajectory and flew this thing to geostationary orbit.
Also, 100kx warp is pretty fast.

The radial decouplers don't eject with enough force to push the SRBs away.

Have you tried putting decouplers on the decouplers until the booster hangs out far enough that it's not a problem?
What? It works! Probably.

blazingfly, for the love of Kerb, post pictures already so we can help you!
After 12 hours of an 88 degree inclined orbit I mapped the entire planet.

What are the two artifacts? anybody know?

I think one of them is KSC, don't know about the other.
If you are getting tired of blazingfly whining, clicky here http://facepunch.com/profile.php?do=addlist&userlist=ignore&u=79459
Isn't there a second KSC in a valley somewhere? That might be the second artifact.
What the fuck is wrong with the RCS's now?
You know they didn't test this release at all when the default RCS's aren't enough to even slow you down on the fucking moon.
That is, the Kerbal's backpack RCS's are stronger than my ships one.

Your ship has a gazillion times the mass of a kerbal, bro

Are you seriously trying to land on the Mun with just RCS thrusters
Like really bro
Also, still no pictures. You're only making yourself look dumber. Give us something to work with here and we will try to help.

Quoting because I need help with this.

That is how I would land in 0.15
Main engine to take off most of the speed, then RCS thrusters to get rid of the last 50m/s or so.
I don't understand why they nerfed the RCS's too - it explains why large rockets now handle like shit.
Jezus christ blazingfly, every time you sporadically jump into this thread it's just to complain the fuck about x or y about KSP. Either go back to orbiter 2010 (because you said you like that more several times in the past) or calm down. Not every mechanic in the game works to how you want it or expected it.
iirc isnt that a thread rule anyways
dont jump in a thread just to hate on a game?
[editline]28th July 2012[/editline]
In fact, if you think you know exactly what you want in a rocket building game, try making your own.
unity is available for free
It's more like, I paid for this game, why are they not testing anything and releasing with fuckloads of bugs?
It's more like, I paid for this game, why are they not testing anything and releasing with fuckloads of bugs?
hmm
experimentals with a closed testing group
bugs? more like pebkac errors
Blazing, I'm new to the game, and even I can make some basic Munar landers. If you changed the way you build your rockets or your landing/orbital techniques, you'd be more successful.
And post some damn pictures if you need help.

oh, your jitters are caused by having low eccentricity

Last I checked 0.16 was a public release, not an experimental.

This is the only rocket that has enough thrust to get me anywhere near the moon, those boosters are taller than the launch tower.
I even switched to some mod RCS's, only now, not only are they weak, they drain my RCS fuel much faster too.
So no more mun RCS landings then?
oh, your jitters are caused by having low eccentricity
As i don't know most of the terms, could you specify what eccentricity is?
