Kosmos, someone put a download link in the Kosmos mod thread.
Got it
Thanks honeybuns <3
so how do you guys dock then? Im trying to place the Kosmos docking part but it never lets me place it...
Helpful EVA Tips:
[First a moment of silence for the 12 kerbals who died to bring you this information.]
*crickets*
OKAY!
1) From the surface of the Mun, a full EVA pack will NOT get you into orbit.
2) From the surface of Minimus, a full EVA pack WILL get you into orbit and much more. (Working on numbers so that a Kerbal can EVA off Minimus and back home.)
3) An EVA Kerbal can push a craft but not in any meaniful direction.
4) A Kerbal is much tougher than I thought. Bounced along the surface of the Mun for about 1 KM (no exageration) and lived. It looked ugly and the rag doll was HI-Larry-US but he got up and walked just fine. Even so, High speeds and high angle of inpact is no bueno.
EDIT: For the love of god, they need a tiny parachute on those EVA packs!

docking doesnt exist.
there's probably someway to fake it via plugin, but i'm not sure how plugins work.
They really like to delay stuff recently. IVA slipped an update, 0.16 took like two months and docking died somewhere around 0.14.
But hey, we're getting tutorials.
And planets.

Turns out we may be getting at least partial docking sooner than we think.
And planets.
And more useful time warping.
And "several new parts".
I did some mucking about with Sillisko's picture.

It isn't much I know. Just thought something would come out of it.
Finally some news from the devs.

Repost because everyone ignores me.
I suggest a Rover Construction Building.
But i want to put the rover in a normal vertical ship (and fold it like the real one)
Just bought the game. Woo.
If you make your ship big enough, can you see it from the ground while it's orbiting?
The Space Center view doesn't change at all. Even if you have a debris field scattered across the space center, it doesn't change unless you're piloting a ship in the 'real-time' world.
Super Simple Solar Sheild!

With super shitty texture.

I would assume so, it's just making, and getting a ship that fucking huge into orbit.

Wait, wait.
Does this mean we'll be able to tell if our rockets with fly correctly, or at all before we physically test them.
That's fucking awesome.

I couldn't see it either, but he mentions "attached file". So you most likely have to log in to see it.
If you make your ship big enough, can you see it from the ground while it's orbiting?
It could be a simple sprite visible from the ground that moves along the orbital path of the station/rocket/whatever and will adjust its brightness according to the number of parts in the vessel. And its distance form the camera.

oops, wrong download thing. its at the very bottom of the OP.
After getting 2 ships into pretty nice orbits, I've decided to build a station.
I've built it and I have a 2 stage launch system that can probably get it into orbit. I can add boosters to save more fuel as well.
Going to launch it tomorrow!
So it turns out, enormous fucking discs have a lot of air resistance.
Who knew?
Long story short it's impossible to get into space.
Time to turn the drag to 0 I guess :v:.
Has anyone else noticed that sometime decouplers will turn invisible when decoupled?
Why my 3 crew rocket always explode mid-flight for no good reason.

It means I can finally get my stock skycrane to stop flipping over.

mechjeb
So how do I EVA and how do I make brand new crew members and put them in my Command Pod?
No one has posted this here yet, so here it is; The Magic Boulder!
[IMG_thumb]http://niggaupload.com/images/zXLyl.png[/IMG_thumb]
I don't see what's so magical about it to be honest.
Apparently a lot of older mods' capsules don't have crew anymore.
I don't have any crew with Kosmos VA and Down under's Mei Long capsule.
