I just had a look at the apparent radius of Kerbin. It's tiny in comparison to Earth, or even Pluto. It's round about the size of Charon.
Yeah I made these images a while back:
Dammit, Wizard. I have a flight in an hour but I need to go escape the sun Decisions, decisions. :v:
Now that I've finally gotten mechjeb, I have a strong urge to make something like this:
i think the scale is perfect it's kind of a symbol of the game as a whole, that mix between simulator-realism and cartoon-sillyness
Can someone tell me how to set up parttools?
I wonder if any of the planets will be earth sized with a similar gravity and atmosphere. I'd love to make real rockets that are 1:1 in scale and power.
What satellite mod you would recommended?
Well I managed to alleviate my lag when looking at the ground a little, there was some option ticked which I hadn't meant to leave ticked (terrain scatters or something). I still get a drop, but 20fps is better than 5
I can't wait for payloads and cargo modules. I want to be able to take parts and assemble a jet on the rocky planets with atmospheres
I don't know what you're complaining about when there are people playing with brown water and at 15 fps with horrible images.
I'm sorry, do you expect me to remove my standards from my brain based on what others don't have? "Sorry dear, this steak wasn't vey good, but I won't complain, because some people are having to eat boots" Obviously I'm happy to be able to play the game as well as I can, but that doesn't mean I shouldn' be allowed to find ways to make my experience even better. [EDITLINE]WOMPYDICKS[/EDITLINE] Plus I think you got the tone of that post wrong. It wasn't "look at me, I'm so great, I can look at kerbin with a huge 20 FPS" more "I've pretty much fixed the problem I was having, so you needn't post any more suggestions"
I never noticed that a little bit of the future KSP soundtrack was in the game files already. It's supposed to be a loop that plays in the VAB or Spaceplane Hanger. You can find it in KSP/sounds/editorLoop01.ogg
AUTOMERGE

Hey guys. I'm destroying other people's part packs again. I decided to scale up Probodobodyne and make the cores have 0 crew capacity. :v: [T]http://puu.sh/NUFK[/T]
I want a 100% liquid planet
I want the meat planet.
I want a 100% liquid planet
I reckon we should have one that is insanely rocky with shitloads of steep canyons with a REALLY thick gaseous atmosphere that you can't see through from orbit, so you have no fucking clue where to land on the first go, gives rovers an actual use.
Gah Unity why do you keep giving me proptools compiling errors. I just want to make a hatch. :(

I may be a fool, but how do I use the ion engines in that mechanical mouse mod or whatever? I assume they run off the electricity you generate with the solar panels, but either that isn't working or they can't even lift me up
My Minmus Impactor went horribly awry. [T]http://puu.sh/NZKw[/T] So I decided to turn my orbiting probe into the impactor. [T]http://puu.sh/NZM8[/T] [T]http://puu.sh/NZMw[/T] Boom. :v:

They shouldn't be able to lift you up (although I'm not familiar with that mod's ion engines).
wanted to download some mods but the forums are down so they can get off the shitty forum software they are on Any other places where I can get them?
Old, but I think this would be a good main theme that plays on the Menu. Lates incoming.
Reminds me of Epcot at Disney World.
My thoughts exactly... I love Epcot.
I think one of the inner planets should also have "Intelligent" life. Perhaps little red men. (Note, I want to tune the color of my kerbals to any shade I like. Good for multiplayer. Little pink men... NO blue... wait! PLAID!) These little red men may not take too kindly to you exploring their planet. Maybe they start at the stone age but the more junk you leave on their planet the faster they develop until they too have rockets and now there are little red men landing at KSP HQ, tearing your stuff down and flinging red man poo at your monuments. EDIT: First expansion pack: KERBAL SPACE DEFENSE

That's like half of the small stock landing engine.
