I finally got a saturn 5-like staging system going on. At 500 m/s stabilization boosters fire, bringing it to 850m/s @ 5-6 G's. It then separates with solid boosters, coasts for 30 seconds or so, detaches the fairing, and off it goes to orbit.

it's cinematic but I have a feeling I used nearly 15 tonnes in struts to keep the thing from exploding during staging.

Using the laser guided flight you can fly planes (or even spacecraft) automatically while you EVA or whatever. You can even get out of your plane at certain altitudes and ride while it flies.

So I sent a ship on a Kerbin escape trajectory. I warped to 100,000x and everything that was orbiting around Kerbin went into solar orbit as if from a gravity assist. Anyone else get this?

if you end their flight, they'll show up in the next flight you launch
if they die, they respawn after a short time

Since other kerbals were first introduced, I only got a single bob. The rest were all grey-suits.

yes, extremely frustrating. all of my lunar orbiters are now in deep space. I can count 20, no wonder I constantly have to keep sending more.

There are some ion engine addons out there, but i'm not sure if they have been updated to 0.16
So... What addon packs do you guys recommend? I'd like to be able to build stations and bases, do automated orbits, and build rockets that can go to the moons. Do we have anything for that stuff?
And that docking clamp.. What pack is that in?
