Do you remember when the minecraft forums mod started demanding that all new mods have a licence? It is basically like that with him editing others peoples posts to remove the word WTFPL (although my instances are still the same)

I am now complaining about him editing a post that was completely on topic only because it was the do what the fuck you want licence skunkmonkey. That is a valid thread and it needs to be explained. He could have done it in a more nice way but it is a issue that needs to be explained.

Having moderators censor a post with something related to the thread (In this case the [url=http://sam.zoy.org/wtfpl/]WTFPL Licence[/url]) is not acceptable. The above is the only recorded instance but it has also been removed from [url=http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/16814-Plug-In-s-and-Licenseing?p=234832&viewfull=1#post234832]this post[/url] and replaced with the CC licence (I do not know who edited this post but it was WTFPL earlier on).
I have commented about how it is a valid licence in that thread with sources from the Debian Mailing list (which quote someone from the Free Software Foundation).

For the record, most of us agreed that insulting him isn't the best course of action, and the first thread that was posted was already edited a lot to remove some of the anger present in the first draft. It's really tough to respect the guy with how he acts now. I get that he's trying to help the forum, but a lot of things, like editing posts that have facts he doesn't like, or locking threads where someone is bringing up a valid point about his actions, just seem immature (although we might be used to here on Facepunch where mods can't really do those things).

The way I see it, unless you can defend your position and explain how it is, you don't deserve any respect at all.
If DR is just doing what Squad wants him to, what's the problem with explaining that in the threads that were created, or just in the first, then there wouldn't have been a second thread?
It's not difficult to be open with people, and you definitely should be, especially when these people are customers that you provide a service to.
