skycranes would be a cool as hell thing to have
skycrane stock is easy as heck it doesnt do the pulley, but other than that it works pretty close
Don't forget to watch the launch this morning at 4:07 EST (am) :) and since yall are asking about windows. I got some normals to sneak peak. and just because i don;t wanna post too much about it I will probably go silent about it now.
It turns out I actually have footage from my Mun rescue mission!
this is the "sky'crane' ", in a crash course to the moon. i did a full thrust right before i decoupled from the capsule :D

stop makin' me feel inadequate:( whoops this is what happens when you turn on infinite eva fuel, kids.
I set for SRBs to fire when I hit for a decoupler to decouple my satellite with the launch rocket When I hit that stage, the decoupler works but the SRBS dont, what gives?
I set for SRBs to fire when I hit for a decoupler to decouple my satellite with the launch rocket When I hit that stage, the decoupler works but the SRBS dont, what gives?
Can you give us an image of the stage diagram?
skycranes would be a cool as hell thing to have
Lionhead Aerospace has a skycrane: [img_thumb]http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/1770/111ter.png[/img_thumb] link

I'm pretty sure most people are referring to wanting a winch to make a proper skycrane.
I might cry my first actual mun orbit, this wasen't planned I was just launching shit and bam RCS saved the day! [T]http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t416/Napalm_bomb_ms/begentlemyfirsttime.jpg[/T] OH SHIT I'M GOING IN! It was dark I panic'd and lit my landing engines too soon and decoupled and smashed into the mun at about 650 mp/s hey but I made it! Also I noticed if your pod is upside down on the ground and you EVA and let go of the ladder it crashes?

What is a space umbrella even for? Why did I make this?
NEW DELIVERY FOR KOSS-1: JEB KERMAN BITCHES When Bill revives, I'm going to send him off to it as well and then I'll have my new mission control up and running, completed with a five kerbal crew. THEN: WE CONQUER THE MUN
Damn I keep slamming into the moon when I warp I stop it before it gets there it kinda lags and bam.
Is it possible to pick up astronauts? I want to do a rescue mission but I have no idea how to transport a crew of three
Is it possible to pick up astronauts? I want to do a rescue mission but I have no idea how to transport a crew of three
Just get empty crew capsule parts. -Example-

RIP Neil
I shall land on the moon in memory.
Well now I'm sad.
And another of the few men who landed on the moon has passed. Sad.
I'm making a memorial landing site on the Mun in honor of Neil
gonna try to recreate the apollo mission today no mechjeb :(
I think we all knew that surgery would kill him eventually. heart surgery on an 82 year old only extends life so long. but you know how stars die in threes? what a terrible group to be part of... phyllis diller died the other day.... I bet neil is thankful that rosie O Donald didn't die... He would be the only notable human being in the group of three.
:( should have done a less horizontal approach :\ i also found out that you can't control a ship with only the crew tank on it oh well :(
Does MechJeb need SAS modules for it's autopilots? Because i'm planning a nice little rocket and the SAS module kinda makes it uglier
My Neil Armstrong Memorial Station I wish I could keep Jeb on the ladder, but the ground will do.
i also found out that you can't control a ship with only the crew tank on it oh well :(
A MechJeb module will fix that.
