There's so much free bug tracking software available that I'm not sure why they would want to use a forum to collect them.
Is there any way to better secure my command module fuel tanks I secure it to? Several times, including my first landing on Minmus my module detached from RCS Fuselage, I've tried adding struts between the two but I don't think it helps.

That's the only way I know of doing it, and it's less useful when you want to do things like command modules or other important pieces that will be in the final stages of your flight, because after detaching the tri-shaped connector things they'll leave the rocket but stick to whatever they were manually rodded to. Obviously.
Came back to KSP after many months. THrew together a mun mission. Got it right on the 3rd try with minimal testing. [sp]fuck why doesn't the engine light whatwhathwh-crash[/sp]
More preparation for .17!
So Nova has some facial hair eh? and apparently wings? http://kerbaldevteam.tumblr.com/post/30483723151/the-crew
the only one they should put in the game is jacobo
Why are aerospikes so under appreciated? I use them on my best rocket (which has gone to the minmus and back) They're efficient as hell. Is it the fitting issues?
Hell, I've made a reasonably successful rocket that used turbojets to climb the first 30km or so before they die and the liquids kick in.
Well, seeing as how 0.17 is coming up fast, here is Evenera, my unmanned Eve soft-lander. With orbiter [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/VO9dr.png[/img_thumb] Upper atmosphere drag chute [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/fT9bY.jpg[/img_thumb] Primary descent chute [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/e9N92.jpg[/img_thumb] Landed [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/6hRhf.jpg[/img_thumb]
Initial interplanetary stage of my do-it-all rocket. Even if the front end piece is technically skewed on liftoff, it looks like some cool plant thing while it flies around so it's all cool with me.

I went to fire the stage that supposedly shot-off the casing and revealed my satellite/lander but it only detached along the vertical seam and failed to detach at the base. It ended up like a bird's beak with half of my satellite poking out at the tip
I really like making single stage rockets So I tried to make a smaller one... Let's just pretend it worked, and it probably would have enough fuel with more efficient flying

I can't attach it.
How do you attach the aerospike to rocket fuel tank? I can't attach it.
try turning the tank upside down. The aerospike is notorious for being weird about placement.
...how do you turn the tank upside down
wasdqe
wasdqe
:aaaaa:
wasdqe
another feature I didn't know about.
another feature I didn't know about.
Shift+wasdqe rotates it a smaller amount rather than 90 degrees
why does the game never tell us about this ;_;
It hopefully will in 0.17 with the tutorials.
why does the game never tell us about this ;_;
The tutorial in 0.16 told me about all that.
This is the reason why I love Damned Robotics and the rover mod :v:
who makes the rover mod?
Does this multiple ship thing mean I could theoretically put up a space station sort of thing, then launch another space ship and collide with it? This sounds fun....
Hey guys! I actually did it! And before you guys say "Oh you cheated by using Mechjeb!" Mechjeb is about as subtle as a rhino. Everything beyond aligning and circularizing the orbits was done manually.
I designed a nifty mun rover that due to a horrible orbit circularizing accident on the mun, ended up being sent to minmus instead :v: I'm not sure if I have enough fuel to send Chadman Kerman (pictured) back home, what should I do?

Put your rescue craft into orbit around Minmus, if you can manage to land then that's bonus points, however I highly doubt you'll be able to do so and have enough fuel to get back, the CrewTank pod alone is 6 fucking tonnes. Then, use what fuel you DO HAVE to get into a sub-orbit, and once your fuel is all gone eject Chadman and use his pack thrusters to get into a true orbit and then rendezvous with the rescue craft. Make sure he packs a steak or two though. He'll be floating around for quite a while.

So I wanted to crash two rockets into each other in the orbit, entered the same orbit height for both rockets (then 0 deg for one 180 deg for another) and this is what I got Really? Meh..
It's not too hard to align the planes. Just thrust normal or anti-normal when the planes cross and they should flatten out.
