I'm having some problems with some of the kosmos parts, they remain transparent after placing and don't attach.
Put my first satellite into orbit, I think my kerbals will enjoy this :v: '

Is there any plugin based part that acts like a docking port ?
YOU HAD ONE JOB, GRAVITY, ONE JOB
To be honest I have no idea what happened here. I was launching a rover to Mun, carrier craft was equipped with a mapsat so I could cover more ground. I already had MAPSAT3 and STARLAB1 in orbit around Mun. SIR1 was cruising along, it hit the Mun entry point, the orbit swapped, then swapped back, and back again, and then it was completely opposite. My velocity had been completely reversed and I was now leaving Kerbin orbit. Zooming out, I saw that sight there and learned that ALL orbital objects around Mun had somehow slingshotted without any modifications to their already stable and circular orbits.
100,000x speed basically ruins everything ever.
I figured as much, but I watched the last minute of the rendezvous at 1x because I knew it'd mess it up if I didn't. I hit the entry point for Mun's gravity well at 1x, and all of the sudden Mun activated its repulsor and my altimeter skyrocketed.

A little something I threw together earlier. I launch, send myself into minmus orbit, slingshot at roughly 2km, adjust my periapsis to be within the atmosphere of kerbin and land safe and sound. Didn't turn out quite as I had expected it, but I'm happy regardless.
Put my first satellite into orbit, I think my kerbals will enjoy this :v: *redtube satellite*
I don't think they are going to enjoy satellite 512kb/s for 10 minute intervals. Might make 4 or 6 geostationary satellites instead?
Don't forget the Live Jasmin satellite.
With the Jasmine sats on intercept orbits so every time a redtube sat passes over KSC a Jasmine sat rams it.

I started in orbit because I couldn't remember how to get off the runway. Actually took me a similar amount of time, though KSP was much easier for obvious reasons.
Once KSP gets more planets and such, it'll be so much better than orbiter in a lot of ways. The first being it's not a dead project :v:

The first being it's not a dead project :v:
Orbiter isn't dead, but it's being worked on by one guy who has other priorities. Its about as dead as Infinity: Quest for Earth. Personally, I wince whenever I hear about someone wanting reentry physics on KSP. As anyone who's played orbiter will tell you, they are a bitch. Not just a bitch, but a BITCH. When I was doing the slingshot thing, I got my perigee under 150km and managed to bounce off the bastard, next pass it spins my ship out of control and smashes me into the ocean at mach 20. I like KSP's aim and land system a lot more.
I've looked around but I can't find the answer, will KSP eventually support gravity field simulation or remain 1 planet at a time?

Is there a way to "wipe" my save? I have a bunch of satellites and debris with the name "untitled" that I want to get rid of. I just want to start over and actually name everything I put into space and stuff. Side note: re-entry heat would be awesome. I don't think they should put a bunch of effects to make landing prohibitively hard, but adding a little strategy to your pod designs by making it so you have to be able to withstand the heat and pressures would add some fun to an otherwise mundane aspect of the game.
I've never had an accident below 15km with this rocket, but for some reason the engines didn't start. The release arms are in the next stage, anticipating the launch I released it.. Just delete one or both. Otherwise you can open it in notepad and delete craft manually. EDIT: Probably doesn't matter, but I feel I should specify. I meant delete the files inside the saves folder, not the saves folder itself. I'm way too goddamn tired.

I'm assuming there are going to be new parts with this update to make interplanetary travel easier with stock parts. Though does anyone know for sure?
Since I am part of the tester group, I'll ask Harv if I am allowed to stream some footage of it. No promises. Edit: In no way does this post mean the experimental are out yet.
Give us images but in SSTV format. If I was a tester that's what I would do.
I've looked around but I can't find the answer, will KSP eventually support gravity field simulation or remain 1 planet at a time?
With physx, it's currently impossible. I'm assuming you mean gravity that is constantly there, so you can have Lagrangian points and such?
