[QUOTE=Dacheet;37540762]I've had this idea for a long time and really want to do something with it: Using all those telemetry modules (the ones that can be transmitted to other computers), I wanna get a bunch of people on skype or Mumble and set up like a mission control with everyone having a specific job and stuff. That would be so fun.[/QUOTE] Perhaps it would work for descent using communication satellites, where you enter a script into mechjeb on the command of the person who is analyzing the telemetry, or what have you

[QUOTE=Oicani Gonzales;37538332][hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1BxG1IK0Y4[/hd][/QUOTE] how come it lagged so badly? did you put all the graphics settings down i had a pretty big station and it didn't cause 1 fps :v:
is there a tool that would allow me to make axels?
[QUOTE=Maucer;37542070]is there a tool that would allow me to make axels?[/QUOTE] I think Damned Robotics has a part sort of like an axle.
I really want some basic form of docking, I want to do all my landings like the apollo missions!
well this looks sort of[IMG]http://p.twimg.com/A1qklUoCEAEunBB.jpg:large[/IMG] weird lol.
[QUOTE=Neo Kabuto;37542093]I think Damned Robotics has a part sort of like an axle.[/QUOTE] Yeah but it I need a loose axle, not a servo :p
it's not even pointy
[QUOTE=Maloof?;37542666]it's not even pointy[/QUOTE] SpaceX is a loose cannon. They don't [i]follow[/i] the rules, they [i]make[/i] the rules, and then subsequently [i]break[/i] the rules.
[QUOTE=CardBoardBox;37542556]well this looks sort of[IMG]http://p.twimg.com/A1qklUoCEAEunBB.jpg:large[/IMG] weird lol.[/QUOTE] Hey guys I think you're missing something important on the top there. [editline]4th September 2012[/editline] I propose the idea that with the Dragons future ability to propulsive land, that they get a full Falcon 9 ready for launch as seen above, then they can land the Dragon on top, swap crews and repeat. In theory the Dragon never has to touch the ground! Likewise, with Grasshopper, they can land the bottom stage on to the launch pad, and then land the upper stage onto the bottom stage, and refuel as the Dragon finishes the mission!

I am sure it is close. [IMG]http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=29476.0;attach=447722;image[/IMG] this was it's state in May. [IMG]http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=29476.0;attach=447559;image[/IMG] Gosh.

I know they got to build a stock up and all but I want to see one do multiple missions.
Is there a way to choose or influence which crew you have? I never see the original crew anymore and it makes me sad. Also, if Jeb/Bob/Bill die, are they dead permanently or can I use them again?
[QUOTE=OvB;37543777]So when are they going to start reusing the reusable spacecraft? I know they got to build a stock up and all but I want to see one do multiple missions.[/QUOTE] I am not sure. they plan to one day but they are still changing their designs based off the returns. For example apparently the white heatshiled on the top of the capsule has changed compared to the first dragon. (material wise as well as shape and such) Theyn plan on making a Caspule every month. They have the metal plates for up to Dragon 9 waiting to be bent and welded last I saw. I think all Cargo launches will be new capsules. Where as crewed might be reusable. also it seems that is more than ready. the bumped up the next launch from 12/12/12 to 10/8/12 that is a good bump up. Means the next falcon flight will happen sooner :D those images are for the next launch's wet rehearsal.
anyone know how to fix this? it happens with the patcher too. [img]http://i.imm.io/DfaE.png[/img]

Hopefully they'll choose the Texas launch site so I can go watch but last I checked the environmentalists were combating it because it's surrounded by a nature reserve. The rest of the community wants it though from what I understand. [editline]4th September 2012[/editline] [quote]they plan to one day but they are still changing their designs based off the returns.[/quote] And this makes a lot of sense.

Woke up this morning to the fantastic news of 1000+ downloads c: [img]http://puu.sh/127Tn[/img] Also I just had an idea: The site generates BBcode for the mod author on the mod edit page, this BBcode can be put on their forum thread(s) and it has the kerbalnet link, the categories and the filesize, when it was last updated and so on. Does that sound like a good feature to have?

I thought my interplanetary craft was ready for lunar rendezvous tests, bringing back two crew sets. I also just tried the ENB config, which looks better in some situations. SSAO might help. I also realized how huge 2/3rds of the saturn 5 really is. [url=http://postimage.org/image/92j5czo2n/full/][img]http://s11.postimage.org/ylbhq07mr/KSP_2012_09_04_21_31_49_82.png[/img][/url] Unfortunately, I forgot to fix the parachute struts, so I launched a test vehicle to demonstrate that the orbiter could not return. It looks nice with the ENB config in my opinion. It can still return to Kerbin Orbit where a less expensive vehicle can take the crew back via rendezvous. I guess I need to find a better parachute. [editline]4th September 2012[/editline] [QUOTE=Panthereye;37544128][url=http://i.imm.io/DfgA.png]didn't work :([/url][/QUOTE] what changed to make it not work?
[QUOTE=LordCrypto;37545544]Is it one of those fancy live images?[/QUOTE] Sure is, and it's completed and operational :D [img]http://puu.sh/129W1[/img] I'll work on it a bit more later but I think for now it's good. The images are generated on-call so if you mad refresh the page you might be able to see the views and downloads increasing. Additionally the whole thing is a link to the page on kerbalnet. if you think anything needs to be changed with it please tell me, it was a bit of a rushed job because I have another idea I want to get onto :3 [editline]aasd[/editline] So if your mod is on kerbalnet It'd be sweet if you would go to your edit mod page and copy the text it generates for you :D

Live mod image and change date to be less format dependent (aka August 29, 2012)
[QUOTE=Maloof?;37545640]I think it should be shorter and wider; would make more sense for use on the Kerbal forums as it can then also act as a divider or post footer[/QUOTE] How about this, [img]http://www.kerbal.net/includes/functions.php?landing=mod_infographics&target=mod_divider&id=4[/img] change the ID at the end to any number from 1 to 9 [editline]asd[/editline] Signature edition? Much better looking :) although it could be even smaller, or even with a smaller version, because it's still a bit big. Maybe people would want to throw it in their signatures even.

[QUOTE=wizard`;37536348]Now all we need is KOSMOS ;D[/QUOTE] I know, I know. Cardboard keeps poking me about this. I keep having to delay the release of the rebalanced Angara stuff because of work and class. My schedule this weekend was supposed to be free but I ended up having to pick up more hours. I'll hopefully have it ready real soon.
