It's good to know it at least be coming soon <3
and in other big news Tiberion's novapunch remix is coming to kerbalnet.
I launched my KSP and it said new patch available, and I thought that 0.17 had released
Turned out it was a flase alarm, and it was a glitch or something
:suicide:
Oh, and get rid of the whitespace on the taller image

I liked the way he made you sound :v:

Damned aerospace and Robotics stay where they are, but loose other stuff will probably end up on Kerbalnet.

it really needs a preview image to catch people's eye
maybe a large image that fades to the background?

No it was just the new patcher. Although when I tried it, it doesn't actually work. (Not authorised to update.)

Are these rebalances going to remove/change the radial RCS tanks that are the same size and weight as the rest, but carry 1000 RCS fuel instead of 60? :P
Or the 1.75m vectored engine with more thrust and less consumption than anything else on the market?
And are KOSMOS solar panels actually supposed to provide power with EPS installed? They rotate towards the sun as they should, but i see 0 change as far as charge goes.
How do i get the electric energy plugin to work? :/ extracted the plugins and resources folders in my ksp folder but nothing has changed ingame :(
You need a compatible parts pack. On kerbal.net he recommended http://www.kerbal.net/mod.php?id=4 but I'm not really liking that one myself.
(Also a tip if you do use that: move your solar panels and batteries to the bottom stage - they won't charge until activated)
I put the original crew in orbit in my new playthrough, before I actually start experimenting with crewed ships, somehow I got 1 jeb, 1 bob and 2 bills in 4 different ships.
Bill and Bob are 15km from each other though in Orbit, so that's awesome.
whats the best way to stabilize my rocket from tipping over after the solid boosters have been jettesioned? Right now I'm putting the boosters at a slight angle to make the rocket spin and this makes it go completely straight until they're dropped off, then my rocket starts to tumble around.

oh
don't use custom scrollbars, let windows define it
i never like that on webzones

Is it still in the atmosphere? You could add ASAS/MechJeb and control surfaces to help. Also, thrust vectoring on the engines and RCS thrusters would help.
And change the wording on mod required to
"This mod requires dependencies"
less wordy

Today this question happened at Squad, how many animations have been produced so far for KSP? The answer is 392. So, what model is using most of them?
EVA 134
IVA 88
Mechanic 75
Instructors 45
Rest of the crew 50
Also, I'm considering different versions of animations. ie. I've saved most of the EVA walk cycle versions, if it starts with the left foot, if it starts with the right, if its broken into two segments for low gravity interpolations, if the jetpack bones have baked keyframes, if it's clean. Or taking in account the mechanic, he has three different animation stages: preparation, action and end of cycle, all that for endless animation loops. There's also the teaser trailer animations of the three kerbals, their only animation cycle is for walking.
And there's still more to come! As we keep working on the Kerbalverse and figuring out new ideas for those green guys. I wonder, what is your guess on the final animation milestone?

Is it possible in any way shape or form to attach anything to the landing legs?
Is it possible in any way shape or form to attach anything to the landing legs?
I don't think so, but you can probe around the .cfg to edit the attach nodes, I think.

damn, I had just had a Great Idea about attaching engines to the legs to act as a proper vtol

Um edit it, do it, and then post that shit on youtube because this is an amazing idea.

I did. It attaches on properly now but the engines don't move when the legs do
I'm gonna try some more digging and probing in the cfg now

Maybe, but only after you learn how to use scientific notation.

What I want to know about calculators is why they can't handle any more than 69!. I put 70! and they say no way jose.

They're just really, really perverted and want to exclaim it.
Or something else, I guess

You'd make a great doctor ;)
After a heroic maiden flight, Burlie Kerman has made it to the outer edges of the Arctic Circle. Burlie failed to reach the North Pole after a miscalculation in sub-orbit left the plane without enough fuel to reach its destination. Burlie, however, salvaged the mission as best as he could by flying over 1000km through the atmosphere to the Arctic Circle without any fuel.

Pictured: Burlie standing triumphantly on top of his dual turbojet, single toroidal engine plane.
In other KSP news, the Kerbal Space Center is claiming that a recent explosion in the Antarctic Circle was caused by a Mechanical Jeb malfunction on a new orbital rocket. Critics say that the "rocket" followed what they call a "weaponized ballistic trajectory" and looked to be an early ICBM design. KSC denies these allegations as "conspiratorial".

A nearby penguin was able to take this picture of the rocket only a split second before it touched down. The penguin, unfortunately, did not survive the shockwave.
