Came across this while browsing the ksp forums. Its an accual docking mod! still in development though.

- Simple autopilot for active and inactive ships - Some kind of 'docking' - Unmanned pods & remote control system that make debris pilotable - Decouplers controlled by keys rather than staging - Ship to ship fuel transfer & fuel dump
Wow, this mod sounds really useful. I can't decide if I want this now to make awesome stations, or when .17 comes out so everything I make won't get wiped so soon.
who is making it?
It's the guy who's posting those videos, H0gdr1v3r. His first video about it had that feature list.
I have messaged him :D

[editline]11th September 2012[/editline]
A guy in the experimentals leaked a screenshot on Reddit. From the last page: [t]http://i.imgur.com/syaYA.jpg[/t]
what exactly did he leak then?
Reminds me, in some video I saw a Ural-looking truck carrying around a rocket, but could never find the mod on the forums nor google. Anyone know what it was?
http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/7854-PLUGIN-PART-0-16-Carts-v1-34-Cruise-Control-Compatibility-and-More
Also, here's a screen of a previous attempt at launching my kethane transport unit :v:
Anyone seen the nasa grade twist and zip ties? http://www.nasa.gov/images/content/685666main_pia16137-full_full.jpg
Remember that idiot who posted that. 17 screenshot? It's got to suck for that guy. :v:
why don't they remove the super secret testing team all together because why the fuck is there even a group of people getting to play before everyone else who paid for beta access? [editline]12th September 2012[/editline] i really am mad about this why the fuck can't we play with experimentals, that's what we preordered for

I think the general consensus was that it had grown too much to be a traditional Beta and if there were bugs, people would just be complain, complain, complain about them, not just report them.

I'm getting "Invalid Part Configuration" when trying to put Kethane stuff on my rocket. Is there a specific way to place the stuff?

So cool your shit.
left ksp going while i went out for awhile

Even for betas.. people build up expectations, and if you don't meet them they flip out and complain. I'm happy having them root out the annoying/stupid bugs and let us play the version with only minor issues.
Also just realised I was using a ZO2 tank and not a battery, I was wondering why it wasn't working.

It's probably just too much work to set something up like that when the current system is working fine for Squad themselves.
Apparently some guy is making a true docking addon for KSP. Not only that, but according to him:
- Simple autopilot for active and inactive ships - Some kind of 'docking' - Unmanned pods & remote control system that make debris pilotable - Decouplers controlled by keys rather than staging - Ship to ship fuel transfer & fuel dump
First time I landed on the Mun without any issues. 2.8km from the last crash site. Also under me is 64k of Kethane Next target is Minmus Does anyone know how many planets are going to get added in the next update?
So Kethane mod is the new hot deal at the moment?
Hey wizard, suggestion for KerbalNet, use name cheap as your registrar, its cheaper and I haven't had any problems so far with it. Also wow, that kethane mod looks amazing I'll see what I can do with it, is it complicated?
So Kethane mod is the new hot deal at the moment?
Yes because it gives everything you do in the game a real purpouse
Also wow, that kethane mod looks amazing I'll see what I can do with it, is it complicated?
It's not that complicated if you know the parts you need.
Basically, the tester team is meant to be a small group of members who go through and help iron out bugs before the new version is sent out. They decided to do this because too many people kept posting the same thing / people complaining.
ugh.. they never update their shit!! when is it launching!!! http://www.orbital.com/Antares/

They could also add a disclaimer like Dwarf Fortress has, warning about bugs, and saying where to report them, to remain calm, etc.

I don't really get the point of Kethane. I mean, I got a couple thousand liters, but then what? I know you can turn it into fuel but I already designed my orbiters with more than enough contingency fuel.

Build orbital refineries/fuel depots around Minmus. Build landers that need to mine to take off again. Just have fun with it. It's just an added challenge, and something to pass the time until 0.17.
