Same. this is most likely protection for the future; ie next update someone with a pirated copy tries to update, installation md5 =/= patcher md5 and so it cancels.

Aaaaaaaaaah Patcher was downloading and in the middle of the flippin' download it goes over to patching despite there being no ksp in its current directory. aaaaaaaaaah.
Does anyone know where the patcher downloads to? I'd assume temp.

Edit: Yeah, it downloads to temp, but not in an easily accessible format :/

Downloading via the patcher or the website doesn't work, it won't go all the way and the .rar is always corrupt (because it's only like 1/5th downloaded), and the patcher stops to apply the patch but then crashes.
