Has anyone got a link to that video with the all solid rocket booster ship that lands on the mun, minmus, and back to kerbin via complete insanity?

Wat.

Kerbin isn't supposed look like this.
New ice age. :o
How much bigger/smaller is Duna compared to Kerbin?

how?
how?
Snap a picture, rotate camera a bit and take the next, with a decent amount of the previous scene still in the shot, something like this:

then stitch them together with the "Photomerge" tool in Photoshop.
how fucking hard is it to make a tracker and a webseed then a torrent that gives all the purchasers a key
i mean seriously
Or just distribute the bulk through a torrent, and the program itself through the site.
I mean it's the parts and data that contain the meat, but none of it will work without the current KSP program itself, and it's not like that would make it easier to pirate it or anything.
Trying to foot the bill for the server themselves doesn't seem to be working.

You dont seem to understand how webseeds work.
They create the torrent with the actual zip file on a server with it as a web seed.
They host a tracker and distribute the torrent files with unique keys to track who is downloading.
The tracker will keep everyone seeding in the swarm and if the swarm ever gets too weak (or if it is doing the initial seed) it will start to use the webseed to populate the swarm.
It would reduce the load on the server and make getting the game faster for everyone.
So I finally bought the game! Quick question though, with MechJeb updated how do I transfer to other planets? I only see minmus and the mun on the list

AHHHHH
IM SUPPOSED TO BE DOING HOMEWORK AND STUDYING
Also CBP the Dragon didn't make it, I missed Duna and tried to slingshot from the sun

it was glorious
anyone have an IVA of dragon? not yet putDragon into 0.17 lol.

And then I used all my fuel to modify my aerobraking and prayed my silly parachute worked

All you guys bragging about your planet exploring and stuff, I'm still figuring out how to get into orbit with my shitty rockets.
This game crashes a lot to me, most of the times when I click ''Launch'', anyone got a fix?
I can not, for the life of me, get to another planet.
ugh now im getting that glitch where my rocket rips itself apart at max warp

No no, I wasn't implying otherwise. Just saying the art assets could be put into a torrent, and the executable itself downloaded through the site to reduce the size of each initial download from their server since you're only downloading a zip with just the executable and a torrent to get the rest.
Just seems like a simple solution to me, they get to track the downloads the way they like and pirates can't use it without the executable anyway, I'd gladly seed the art assets.
THQ has all their Company of Heroes patches up like you suggest though, a few of those fucking things are 2+ gigs too.
Anyone else's update continually failing at around 40MB when they download 0.17?
retoasting because it's been a day or so now
anyone got a stock interplanetary ship?

Oh cool, the update is out, now I can share my photos taken in the dev versions since you are all at the same version technically.
But you have to wait till Sunday.

is there a new powertech dll? finally got to jool but i want to visit each moon (orbit them) before going and landing on the inner moon but my powertech mod doesn't seem to recharge the batteries. i'm guessing it has to do with the new sun

Anyone figured out how to get the superheavy lander to other planets?
I can't build something without it shaking itself to pieces in Kerbin atmos

I see you using MMI in 0.17, tell me;
Do your solar panels from the satellite pack work?
I can get them to deploy, but they wont charge the batterys AT ALL anymore.
Im 99% sure its the PowerTech plugin though, because thats the system it uses and it is out of date.
Right as I was making a ship freighter to ferry ships across planet SOI's with erkle's warp clamp..
For those who are having trouble reaching the new planets:
1. Don't go too complex/big with your ship. Here's my ship for reference:

She's gotten 3-Kerbal rovers to Duna, Ike, and Eve so far. I could *almost* even get back home from Ike, got so far as a Kerbin intercept.
Have lots of struts. It's much better than in 0.16, but if your ship falls apart, you need more struts. Also, I personally don't use RCS at all; I'm able to keep fairly good control without it.
2. Use atomic rockets, those things are amazing. With my build, I was able to get from a circular orbit around Kerbin to a precision landing trajectory on Duna with just two as my cruise stage, even with my inefficient flying. You'll be sitting and waiting for your ship to accelerate a lot, sure, and don't even think about landing with them, but they're an excellent cruise stage.
3. Intercepts take patience. Aim for Duna first, it's the easiest to intercept. Since I don't want to bother with all that fancy math stuff, and since I have enough thrust to do it, once I get into a Kerbol orbit I increase my apoapsis to just barely above Duna's path and then once I get to that, slowly increase my periapsis until I see an intercept flash by. You have to watch really carefully, though, and it takes quite a lot of delta v. Sometimes you'll just to have to wait for a few orbits and pray you get in a better position.
Hope this helps!
Also, warning before landing on Ike, it has like 8km+ mountains and it figures you're in orbit at that height, so the prograde/retrograde on the gimbal is completely useless for landing.
