anyone know thread title character limit?
im leaning towards meppers title more characteristic of .17
If your ship is breaking after high warp, its not the games fault, its how you designed your rocket. I never had any of my ships break on me ever.
I like Kabuto's title.
Bill, Jebidiah, and Jendorf left Bob to his awkward duplicate and decided to drive of to a nearby crater.
I sort of assumed that they would have fixed the fuel bug in .17 but my engines seem to be burning out really quickly. They fixed it, and my engine problems are just me being bad at video games, right?

It just requires you to build rockets a bit differently than you're probably used to.
sry dudes im choosin meppers title
If your ship is breaking after high warp, its not the games fault, its how you designed your rocket. I never had any of my ships break on me ever.
max warp is on rails / disables the physics of the ship... meaning none of the parts are moving in reference to each other and so it shouldn't break apart. it's the game
Kerbal Space Program V3: Cat Butts in Space
I like this title. I guess it's because I put up my Moho mapping satellite. :v: [t]http://puu.sh/185he[/t] Also because I have a cat:
If your ship is breaking after high warp, its not your fault, its how the game works on a base level.
Fixed. Seriously, there is no conceivable way to have a rocket fly halfway into deep space, only to have a perfect chunk of retro-rockets tumble off their joints and then have the entire rocket, bar command pod, seamlessly and instantly Philadelphia Incident itself to the edge of the map. This has happened to me during every interplanetary flight and progressively gets worse every time to try again.
Odd, never once has it happened to me.
The reason why I said it is due to how you made your rocket is because during the... ... How the fuck do I say this without someone on facepunch taking a picture and giving it to NovaS LIKE LAST FUCKING TIME THINKING I LEAKED SHIT.
and the votes are tied for meppers and space cthulu and meppers didnt vote nor did i "watching a triangle go around the sun for 2554 days" wins

another 45 minutes wasted by the kraken i give up.
anything we can spend 50 posts on so we can get to new thread??? favorite mod pack go
I've only lost one ship while in warp. I was flying towards Jool at whatever the highest setting was. I was going to skirt the edge of the atmosphere to slow myself down. I just left it on the highest setting thinking whatever, it'll just slow time down once I get close enough. At some point before hitting atmosphere, but still relatively close, the game went back to 1X time and my whole ship blew up. Thankfully I had quicksaved before-hand so I just reloaded the save and made sure to not approach on such a high warp setting. Other than that one time I've had no problems whatsoever getting killed in warp. I've just been a little more careful with going in too high a warp when I get close to something and that's worked out for me.
Good night.
When the light flashed, I felt nothing. I blinked, and I saw nothing. A terror crept over me, and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Why didn't the sun visors work? "Jeb!" I called out into the void. Silence roared back at me, its malignant cold seeping through my helmet, caressing my head with its soft, seductive, tendrils. A beep from the monitor cut through my delirium with supreme dexterity. I swung my previously incapacitated arms to the right, hoping to make physical contact with my mute friend, but my arms made contact with... Nothing? Where my friend had been sitting, there was only empty space, so, confounded, I sat and I waited for my senses to come around. I waited for what felt like an immeasurable amount of time, and as I had no way to check the time, I would often find my mind wandering. Sometimes, it would wander back to my family on Kerbin, and I would think about how many tears were shed at my departure. I remember my wife kissing me goodbye, clutching fervently at my orange jumpsuit. I remember my eldest son crying into the stuffed rocketship I bought him the day before I left. I remember having to comfort him, because he wouldn't let go of my sleeve; "How long will you be gone?" "Daddy's going to be gone a long time, so I need you to look after mummy and your brother for me. Is that OK?" He nodded, and through his tears, he pleaded; "Come back soon, daddy." Other times, my mind would sit, dormant, and I would just feel the lethargic blackness oozing back into the crevices of my mind, poised to seize my sanity. At times I wanted it to take me, to end this interminable mundanity, but each time I thought back to the promise I made my son. So long as I remained lucid, there was a chance that I could abort the mission and head home. The monitor bleeped again, but this time it was accompanied with a faint light. My heart skipped. I tried to focus my eyes on where the light was, but it had gone again. I knew for a fact that the monitor was set to bleep every two hours or so, so that made me realise how little time I was actually semi-conscious for. I squinted, and I strained my eyes at every faint light I could make out through the shuttle window, hoping for my sight to return. It did return, after two more bleeps, and I quickly took in my surroundings. All systems normal. No reading of ambient light differences, no reading of external light spikes. I unbuckled my harness and floated over to Bob. He was sitting there, eyes fixed in the far distance. I moved my arm to touch his, and, in a moment of pure insanity, my hand passed through him. Still he sat, eyes fixed in the distance. I moved over to look at his face properly, and instead of his familiar features, I saw a face contorted with fear, framed by a windowless helmet. But it was his eyes which were the most terrifying. They were black. So utterly black. I looked deeper into the unnaturalness of his eyes, and saw what I saw in my dreams. A shapeless horror, whose words were more enticing than a honey coated spoon, and whose teeth were incorporeal and ever changing - yet just as deadly (and as hungry) as any tiger. I sidled over to Jeb, and saw an identical terror engraved on his ashen face. I glanced into his obsidian eyes, and saw a similar evil lurking within. Resigned, I bobbed back to my seat, ready to begin a full course reversal, which would, no doubt, burn up what was left of our fuel. Instead of seeing an empty seat, I saw a pair of floating red eyes, and a disembodied mouth of sorts, hovering inches above the seat. "Hello" It whispered, a grin plastered on its revolving maw. Its voice was a delicious medley of ravenous tones, and each note it purred licked my ears lustfully. I smiled. Its golden words were far too inviting. First, it kissed my soul. Then, it caressed it. Then it devoured me whole, and the madness began.
