Do you know what mod it is?
C7 mostly
So I was watching the new trailer when I noticed something... Ahhh related videos v:v:v
Seems to be a theme on youtube.
I'm an aerospace student at uni and right now we're learning about orbits and all that fun stuff. I bought the game and am considering it my homework
You should show it to your professor, it's a good way to teach about how orbits work.
Did anyone get banned from KSP's forum? I've never posted there. Problem: Can't get 0.14 x4 to work on my mbp..
Did anyone get banned from KSP's forum? I've never posted there. Problem: Can't get 0.14 x4 to work on my mbp..
A bunch of us got banned. But shitposters don't usually get banned, so I suggest to use as many reaction pictures as possible and to post non-contributing content, so you don't get banned. P.S try to become a moderator if you think you are shitpostery enough, be sure to use vague metaphors and don't ban your shitposter brethren!
Been a while since I've posted here. Lookie!
Been a while since I've posted here. Lookie!
Maybe in the future you'll be able to actually save your crew with another craft should the first mission fail somehow. It'd definitely complement the new crewmember system at the very least.
Sending a crew off into the middle of nowhere, then finding them in another rocket.
Sending a crew off into the middle of nowhere, then finding them in another rocket.
Near impossible without doing serious calculations and precise maneuvering, down to milliseconds and millimeters.
That's why I said that.
So when will we get to customize our own Kerbals and give them names? Also, I'm hoping that we get to customize the kerbals much like Little Big Planet.
Anyone able to provide a mirror for the experimental? Tried a gazillion times to download it.:suicide:
Pretty sure that's not gonna happen since, you know, it's pretty much illegal (not saying that you haven't bought it)
I have a license to copy it, thus it is legal.
You have a licence to download it from Squad, however, that does not mean people have a licence or even a right to upload it elsewhere, unless it's either Squad or someone with their permission to upload it.
He should split the download in two parts, with everything but the executable in a torrent and the game's executable on the site. I can only manage to download 70% of the thing before it cuts out at the same spot every time.
You have a licence to download it from Squad, however, that does not mean people have a licence or even a right to upload it elsewhere, unless it's either Squad or someone with their permission to upload it.
Noneconomic distribution rights to existing license holders (or perhaps owners) is an area that is hardly legislated in, mainly because it's difficult to prove any kind of infringement on moral or economic grounds. Would you be able to post the EULA?
Raptor/Contag How long is it taking you to download the file? and internet speed, I did it just now, in 35 seconds and tis completely fine. I don't think there is a EULA for it,but Squad own the copyright to it, thus can dictate how they want it distributed/who can distribute it, and given that the moderators are banning anyone who asks for an upload of it, it can be taken as a given that they don't want it distributed anywhere but the main site.
Internet speed is a glorious 100 kilobytes per second gets about halfway before dying
If halfway takes ten minutes, I think its because they put a cut off point 10 minutes into the download, because of bandwidth usage.
If halfway takes ten minutes, I think its because they put a cut off point 10 minutes into the download, because of bandwidth usage.
Wow, I just timed it and I think you're right what the flying fu/rage
I can't really blame them since, you know, they've not got the bandwidth of like Steam or anything.
Except that you've paid and experience the exact same bandwidth limiting as people who download it. And by the particular implementation is insane, because you can just keep attempting to download it. Surely any limiter would be based on data by ip, not time?? [editline]3rd March 2012[/editline] And there is no indication that you shouldn't keep attempting to download it either
x4 is pretty buggy. Hopefully the full release will be this weekend, or early next week. Apparently HarvesteR and his "personal testing group" have been bug-hunting pretty nicely. The full release is apparently going to have a "few more surprises" in it too, which is nice. However, some of these mods on the forums are downright pricks: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=8011.0 Some people just need to get down from their high horse. But enough of the forum-drama, I suppose. ...Getting to the Mun is crazy-hard with stock parts!
Having been a mod on here, and knowing what it's like, I take the mods side.

I did it like 4 or 5 times, of which 3 were succesful. I didn't return any yet though, although one is fitted with a return stage.
