And as for the racism accusations, one side says "thats what happened" the other says the chat logs are falsified, frankly, without a reputable person actually being there, it's a he said/she said situation and is best left buried.

Seriously guys, regardless of what you think, drop it, give it a rest. Let the split heal, if they are honestly as bad as you believe, then it'll happen again. If they did do what you believe, then give them a chance to learn from this public callout, but don't let it make bad blood between the two communities, there's a lot of good on each side.
Can someone just fill me in briefly on what has been going on? I drop into this thread from time to time, but I tend to see the words "bad moderators" more than "huge rockets".
When people from other communities starts coming here to complain or clarify things kinda shows that something has gone overboard.

Disagreements with moderator reactions/actions, accusations flying about, all sorts of crap, think its best if everyone just goes along with what i posted as a course of action.

Listen to RayvenQ, there's no need to cause such a mess out of these events. I know how frustrating moderators and unfair ban can be, but provoking, even if unintentional, trough public callouts and other things isn't going to make the situation better.
I am sure questionable bans can be dealt with by contacting KSP's community manager. Try to just avoid the moderators you find are bad and most "bad-mod" problem fixes themselves (look at our own Sporkt-Juct).
Guys, also, an update, having been talking to DaimonRayne trying to sort this all out, and in the course of it, he ended up reading my application for moderator, and now I'm a mod on the KSP site, so I'll say this, if you get banned, and feel that it is unjust, [B]bring it straight to me[/B] and I'll find out the exact reason why, and, if possible, try and sort it out. So no more need to post it publically, or posting it on KSP[B]BRING IT STRAIGHT TO ME.[/B]
Those of you that know me, know that I'm fair, polite and professional to the core.
And for those of you that think it'll make me pick one or the other when it comes to disputes, it won't, consider me Switzerland. Neutral and really good at making pocket knives.

I rated disagree because I've already sent a PM to Moach about this whole debate, and I can't really back out of that yet. Once he replies, I'll be able to know how to approach this issue in the future, which is to say, I'll let you know what he says, and then I'll drop it for now. Until then, just chill out and wait like I am. I've been in plenty of these user-vs.-mod situations before and I know how to not cause a shitstorm.
