I've been remodeling a bunch of my space station parts and I need some suggestions for the service module. What should I add/change with the module body and the engine? The whole setup with other parts: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13781308/KSP/ServiceModule1.png[/t] Just the module: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13781308/KSP/ServiceModule2.png[/t]
You could probably add slots for windows. Doesn't have to be anything complex, just little slots cut into the thing or something.
Someone mentioned cool ships, I think mine is the VentureStar: Mainly because fuck everything I have an aerospike engine
I remember CardboardBox was working on this. T'was pretty sexy.
Some of you guys might not remember this, but Black Pheonix was one of the main people who MADE wiremod. So yea, if you do plugins/mods for kerbal, you might just be amazing.
That changed the situation quite a lot for me :v: [editline]22nd April 2012[/editline] Oh wow there's a plugin allowing you parts to have gravity, so you can land on them! [t]http://i.imgur.com/xaqxY.png[/t] http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=10857.0
[t]http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/images/XR/XR5_Docked_at_ISS.jpg[/t]
I can't wait for NASA to build one of these, its so damn cool.
I can't wait for NASA to build one of these, its so damn cool.
Judging by the current progress (or lack thereof) of the SLS (Two unmanned launches slated so far: 2017 & 2021), you'll have to wait a long ass-time.
Judging by the current progress (or lack thereof) of the SLS (Two unmanned launches slated so far: 2017 & 2021), you'll have to wait a long ass-time.
Two launches in four years, just one year more than the amount of time it took NASA to launch 10 Gemini missions (1964-1966). And those were crewed.

And then you add the fact that Russia is basically saying they'll be on Mars by 2016 and China, India, Iran, the ESA, Japan, and Russia will all be on the Moon in the 2020's... America doesn't care about space anymore.
I don't want to live on this plan-- Oh... Shit.
I don't want to live on this plan-- Oh... Shit.
Bum a ride with space-x.
The DARPA HTV-2 failed due to heat stress... at Mach 20. http://www.theverge.com/2012/4/22/2967089/darpa-htv-2-results-mach-20
I was wondering why you were posting news from March 20th... and then re-read it a few times.
They can't care about space, it's different
They COULD care about space. They care MORE about putting air conditioners in soldier's tents.
They made a bullet plane.
ha what is this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSbMs_OnE4c&feature=related

Haven't played much Garry's mod for 2 years or something, but still - it was pretty cool.

If it isn't then Garry could add it in vanilla unless it was horribly broken.
ha what is this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSbMs_OnE4c&feature=related
Oh god the comments.
Hey guys. Guys! Listen up! Guys! I'd like a larger planet:
Hey guys. Guys! Listen up! Guys! I'd like a larger planet:
Yeah, a larger planet would be awesome, like a gas giant... but not made outta gas, y'know. I'd love if KSP's solar system was a mix between earths current one, but also half made up; we'd have our mars equivalent planet, of course, but also maybe their pluto is actually massive (earth sized) with several Kerbin-sized objects orbiting it.
Kerbin should always be small. Don't care if we have time warp, I don't want an orbit to take 4 hours. Especially because I like to just chill in orbit on occasion.
I think it would be cool if it had 2 asteroid belts.

An earth-sized one would really be interesting.

it would have been semi neat to see a shuttle do a AOA (abord once around) orbit once then land. such a waste but launch over here. land an hour later lol.
wow. they launch things to space near me? Looks like I will be able to see the Taurus 2 launch near me this year :D
Also SpaceX's launch to the ISS is delayed to early May, date not set yet.
Also SpaceX's launch to the ISS is delayed to early May, date not set yet.
for fuck sake... do we know why? :D
for fuck sake... do we know why? :D
As a friend told me, better to make sure everything is OK, rather than rush. *cough*Challenger*cough*
