Does anyone know if there are any plans to let modders add in their own planets and/or remove existing ones?
I really want to use the Telemetry mod to make a mission control with a bunch of people. Also, 3 days until the update! :v:
Also, 3 days until the update! :v:
Damn, really? I need to get my updated station parts out.
Why does my trip to berlin be exactly from 6-10 may :suicide:, now I mis the dragon to ISS launch, portal 2 level editor release, and I got just 1 day to play with the new ksp version (if it doesn't get delayed) [editline]2nd May 2012[/editline] I guess it'll be fun though in there.
Wow I'm still on .14, just .14.
Went to go see Discovery. It is much more intimidating than Enterprise ever was. I think it is taller some how. Anyway pictures coming soon. but whoa. nice video :D
Pretty sure they are all the same size, or at least close.
Pretty sure they are all the same size, or at least close.
I think they're about 55m tall. It'd be awfully foolish to make a "standardized" design and deviate from it.
Pretty sure they are all the same size, or at least close.
it might just be the over all look. everything being tiles. not plastic stand ins like on enterprise. upon looking at this apparently massive image. I think the enterprise has slightly less tilt. Notice discovery is tilted downward more. this difference sort of makes it look bigger. It fills the space alittle better.
Pretty sure they are all the same size, or at least close.
All Shuttles are the exact same size except for slight differences due to material faults and ambient heat.
I think the difference you're seeing there is the weight, which is why Discovery is sitting a bit lower Other than that I think they're the same.
I think the difference you're seeing there is the weight, which is why Discovery is sitting a bit lower Other than that I think they're the same.
ah good point. the front could be a tad lower because of that. it makes a big difference in the way they fill the Udvar Center. it is much more impressive. I saw the enterprise when it was in there. it was just not the same. it was actually weird to see this giant thing that had been to space. knowing it will just sit there.. for the rest of it's existence. and we will never really see anything that size doing this for some time. It is so large lol.
We seriously should set up, like, FP Mission Control using the telemetry mod. Who's game?
We seriously should set up, like, FP Mission Control using the telemetry mod. Who's game?
I'm up for it. Although the only data you'd get from my missions is a body count :v: Edited: Never mind, doesn't work in the demo.
Go ahead and set it up. I have exams for the next few weeks.

I can't find the picture, but there's a pretty awesome photo of the Enterprise after a test flight that shows a cluster fuck of its tiles missing from being ripped off, anyone have it?
Enterprise looks like it hasn't done any reentries.
Enterprise looks like it hasn't done any reentries.
It hasn't. It had no engines and never achieved even a suborbital flight.
I'm up for it. Although the only data you'd get from my missions is a body count :v: Edited: Never mind, doesn't work in the demo.
I think you can still receive data, since it's an external program showing data.
I think you can still receive data, since it's an external program showing data.
But where's the fun in not sending thousands of kerbins to their deaths? Uh I mean, into space where they come back safely.
ah fuck... SpaceX ‏ @SpaceX At this time a 5/7 launch is unlikely. We will issue a statement as soon as a new launch target is set. Expand Reply Retweet Favorite

Dammit... they pushed back docking? :( Wasn't that the entire point of this update? :/
Yeah, it sucks a lot docking is pushed back, I don't see why they wanted the HVAB more than docking...
