Went to go see Discovery. It is much more intimidating than Enterprise ever was. I think it is taller some how. Anyway pictures coming soon. but whoa. nice video :D

I think they're about 55m tall. It'd be awfully foolish to make a "standardized" design and deviate from it.

it might just be the over all look. everything being tiles. not plastic stand ins like on enterprise. upon looking at this apparently massive image. I think the enterprise has slightly less tilt. Notice discovery is tilted downward more. this difference sort of makes it look bigger. It fills the space alittle better.

All Shuttles are the exact same size except for slight differences due to material faults and ambient heat.
I think the difference you're seeing there is the weight, which is why Discovery is sitting a bit lower
Other than that I think they're the same.

ah good point. the front could be a tad lower because of that. it makes a big difference in the way they fill the Udvar Center. it is much more impressive. I saw the enterprise when it was in there. it was just not the same.
it was actually weird to see this giant thing that had been to space. knowing it will just sit there.. for the rest of it's existence. and we will never really see anything that size doing this for some time. It is so large lol.
We seriously should set up, like, FP Mission Control using the telemetry mod.

To bring this up again, the camera that took this picture is up in the air a bit so perspective will make the nearer one appear closer towards the ground.
I can't find the picture, but there's a pretty awesome photo of the Enterprise after a test flight that shows a cluster fuck of its tiles missing from being ripped off, anyone have it?
Enterprise looks like it hasn't done any reentries.
