I just spat tea all over myself.
400 a year?! For what? There aren't enough satellite launches a year to support that sort of growth, and even if there were, they'd have to be falling out of the bloody sky to warrant so many satellite launches.
I thought they were built to be reusable :<
44 falcon 9 launches a year.
14 heavy launches a year.
It is not so much that they need that money as much as Elon is trying to make space Travel cost much less regardless of if spaceX is doing the travelling or not. If there is a high demand for something but a small supply then the price is high. but if you say you can get a rocket launch whenever the fuck you want or need it. Then the price drops dramatically. and not only your price. competitors must compete. Basically ULA must find a way to counter this. They hardly can pump out RD-180s at a beatable rate. As i recall they also plan on roiling out First stage assemblies once a day or so.

This is hilarious
Oh, I've been going about it the wrong way, keep the wings fixed and alter the engine pitch.
have you had any problems from it? I have been wanting to get one for my OS. but I am not sure how I could copy my OS over bit for bit so i don't have to reinstall.
I have had no problems whatsoever.
You can copy an existing OS install to an SSD, but a fresh install is always better.
Can't you just copy paste, and then go into your Bios when you reboot and switch the Bootup 1 device to be the SSD?
Never done it before. That would probably cause a lot of problems with other shit looking for the original directory for stuff and not finding it
That won't work.
paycheck arrived, buying KSP today :D
bought it earlier today too. downloading it now and waiting for my brother to get off the PC so I can try the latest build out. Cant wait!

and this has just made my day. New Robbaz videos make me smile. specially when its a game that actually is pretty fun to play/watch other people play.

Like MC3Craze said, reinstalling is always the best option. I'm loving my 128GB Crucial M4 aswell, there's quite a big difference if you start using one!

Won't work, you also need to copy the MBR (Master Boot Record) over, and some files can't be copied while windows is running.
Now back to KSP! Man this game is awesome! Anyone has some good suggestions for those fancy mod things that were added a few versions back? So far i've been playing vanilla...
yay
This is fantastic. Now we just need to perfect cryogenic freezing so that I don't have to wait.

So the Falcon is the model T of space, basically.
I'm envisioning a Rocket dealership with hundreds of Falcons with big price tag stickers on them like a car dealership.
Anyone link me to some good mods?

That's not the problem. The MBR can be fixed with a Windows DVD or Easy BCD.

"This video has been removed by the user"
I was actually kind of interested in seeing that. Anything KSP related with a title like "Giant Mun Lander" is bound to be at least entertaining.
I started playing again when I saw that C7 was hired as a developer. The next update can't come out soon enough.

Elon Musk has actually been called the "Henry Ford of his time" before, but I think that's more because of Tesla :v:

He didn't update the link, but it's uploaded to his channel, just click the Youtube icon under his name here on FP
Also, I put a small station into orbit, but had my stages ordered wrong so I was never able to extend the solar panels. But when I remade it and went back up again, I happened to be about 40km away from the original I put up, and when I got into range to visually see it, Kerbal crashed =(
Damn you Kosmos pack!
The constant nagging in the Development Thread on the forums is so fucking annoying.
It's like half the people in there think they're entitled to a release when they think it should be ready.

Sorry, had to reup it.
That is why you should not use autopilots and just do everything manually.

Autopilots teh shit.
But I do enjoy when going up into orbit, to rather use MechJeb to select pitch and roll, rather than use the ascent autopilot.

I hope those doors open wider, or you're able to warp to the runway, Some of my larger spaceplanes wont fit through that.
So... about me searching some mods.
I kinda went over the top and installed err.. a lot.
It takes 170 seconds to load the game, on a SSD
I hope those doors open wider, or you're able to warp to the runway, Some of my larger spaceplanes wont fit through that.
You don't actually drive out through there.
I'm afraid we won't be driving any rockets or planes out the hangar just yet. The flight and editor logic would need some significant changes to allow them to play together nicely. Maybe someday in the future it will be possible, but it would require a significant investment in time to get it working.
In my opinion, the textures in the HAB look like shit.
Autopilots are neat, but I like doing things manually because it's a lot more fun and unpredictable... and keeps me practiced!
I don't bother with autopilots because you still have to sit there and watch it when it's autopiloting so I might as well not autopilot and just fly it.
Hm, all that animated stuff in the hangar is a bit distracting... but maybe I'm just not used to seeing a VAB non-static.
It would be cool if they had parts being transported on the animated bits.
huh. what should be made.. RD-170 or 180... would be easy to do.
So what, will VAB be retconned to mean Vertical Assembly Building, rather than Vehicle?
and how do you attach rocket to the underside of rockets :/ like can you do stratolaunch?
also, apparently if you had an EVE online character your user name was sent to 'space' in a balloon lol.
