Woah you mean they put his dick on a mars rover?
I would miss it.
Miss it enough to send rockets to mars just to get it back.

I always wondered how a kidney could improve NASAs inventions :v:
I promised myself I would buy this game once docking is implemented. After playing the hell out of 13.3 I need something new or I'll just be bored.

Buy it. Docking is going to come soon.
I've been massing about with Orbiter yesterday and today.
Anyone who hasn't tried it should do so, I suggest using a joystick also.
It's a little more technical than KSP:

Has anyone anything to make orbiting a little easier? I can get to space (and past the mun) better never ON the mun.

Well there's MechJeb.

Practice.
Getting to the Mun is really easy btw. Just get into orbit at 100Km up then when the Mun comes over the horizon burn hard prograde until your apoapsis gets to just outside the Muns orbit.
Orbiter is easy as fuck.
IF you use the XR2 and DGIV.

I tried it, didn't like
The manual has like 300 pages itself aaaa
Launching is pretty easy actually, just do full thrust on your joystick.
Then you CAN steer it just like in KSP, but you need to get used to the controls and the larger planet.

I love Damned Aerospace so much.
Also is there a plugin to start on the runway, or at least start horizontally on the launch pad?
I envy the girl who came up with the name (Curiosity)
She got to write her name on a piece of the rover.
Then one day aliens/future archeologists will come across Curiosity and think she was our god and supreme leader.
Just played Orbiter for an hour.
It was mainly an hour of me flailing around trying to figure out how things work
Woah you mean they put his dick on a mars rover?
Linear regulators, from what he says.
Also, they're on Spirit and Opportunity, apparently. I just figured when everyone said "the rover(s)" that's what they meant.
I will perhaps get to see the launch :D

In other news. MY God! He is actually gong to make it!
Making large scale rocket propulsion landing work well is a critical step towards a fully reusable Mars transport system which is the critical breakthrough needed for life to become multiplanetary.
Landing gear of the mega thrust propulsive landing rocket done (next gen Falcon)

In even more news it looks like it finally happened.

I guess Bigelow gave up using boeing's Capsule? all their pics showed using boeings capsule.
Fuck yes, just achieved my first successful moon landing!
So successful, in fact, that the landing also functioned as a preliminary subsurface geological survey!

By that I assume you mean you crashed.

That's awesome, where did you find that?

Elon's Twitter.
it will be cool to see Falcons doing this.

Try reaching the moon using the space shuttle.
I got Apollo 7 (Orbiter NASSP) plugin into orbit.

+ 01499 = Apogee (149.9 nautical miles)
+ 01234 = Perigee (123.4 nautical miles)
Followed the entire pre-launch checklist, this stuff is pretty detailed.
wat
Wat what?
hot
Where can I find folding landing legs >1m? I've looked all over but all I can find are those Novasilsko static legs.

Im starting to get the hang of it. I managed to get 2 ships in orbit around earth. im guessing I just have to fly up towards the Mun. and then gradually start to slow down, building up an orbit around the Mun, and then eventually flying onto the Mun.

Do what I said. It's the most efficient way to get to the Mun by far.
I wonder if they changed the atmosphere with the addition of Spaceplanes, at all. To make flying more realistic and viable, and less clunky and forced.
