On yogbox, what is that purple thing that flies around leaving a purple trail? It makes bell sounds occasionally.
I've been in the Nether recently, growing trees from saplings, dirt, and bonemeal. Whilst i've been doing so, i've been listening to the "Nameless Song" from the Dark Souls OST, which gives a certain special feel to it, as if i'm bringing a mystical earthen light to the firey red of the Nether.
They should make it so that Zombie Pigmen sometimes congregate around the trees, marvelling their otherworldly beauty, whilst Ghasts should be inclined to attack the Trees, fearful of what they represent; intrusion. In general, Zombie Pigmen could use more fleshing out, perhaps having them live in camps of sorts, with tents made from the skin and bones of salamanders.
In terms of trading, which makes sense since Jon is planning to implement Villager Trading, perhaps giving them overworld plant-stuff like seeds, flowers, apples and saplings, would earn you better quality items in return.

Also there should be pretty plentiful gold in the Nether. Pigmen seem to have a shitton of it. Also they could sell "Broken Clocks", which if you craft with redstone, you get a clock. But if you put it in the middle, iron around it, and redstone in the corners, you get a Clock/Compass Combo, which has a compass on the top area, and on the bottom has a clock.

Aye; Gold could be their main trade item, be it in nuggets or ingots.
Also, they should probably have gold-tipped spears instead of Gold Swords.

Sounds like a plan; it'd need to work in the Nether, though, since terrestrial devices don't work on that plane.

Yeah, forgot to add that part. They would probably never have seen iron, so you could keep bringing them it, and eventually, that village will start carrying around iron spears, with iron caps on also.

What I like to do is head in, build a nice house on the land they clear, then slaughter everyone and use their homes and structures as storage centers, stealing whatever they have inside.
Okay, so I'm trying to export my minecraft world for an animation I'm going to make with the minecraft world + characters, I have everything set up EXCEPT for the world, I got my Arena exported but it's using MCOBJ, instead of MC2OBJ because MC2OBJ doesn't work at all, I even went back all the way from 1.2.5 to 1.0.1 and it still didn't work. So my arena has the colors and blocks but not the fucking textures. Does anyone know a working world exporter with 1.2.5 or a way to fix textures for MCOBJ?
I like bulding little paths for my Millenaire villagers since for some reason they don't build paths to connect their houses a lot of the time. I also like to replace some of the materials on their houses to give them a better aesthetic, but then they upgrade the home to something shittier looking and I have to start all over. :C

It seems to be working fine for me. Albiet a little screen-teary sometimes with optifine.
