Anyone else find it rather annoying how light leaks around objects? For example, I have a wall with 2 windows. I place a torch on the inside on the support between 2 windows. The torch lights up the outside of the wall just as much, whereas it should in reality be dark as light just don't bend that way. I really don't want my tower to glow, just the windows to be lit up as normal. I'm having to find a way to place lights that keeps the interior from being a gigantic mob spawner, while keeping the outside dark.
I'm going to restart my server, people. My 24/7 server. I installed Factions, iConomy and Essentials, would I need anything else for a nice, legit survival server?

There was one plugin that allowed the player to place rails and stuff like that on fences.

I don't see the need for iConomy or any economy plugin, honestly, it's just an unnecessary addon that complicates things.

I've got my server up and running, it's pure coolness.
83.85.231.185 is the IP, the mods installed are:
Factions
Essentials.
I removed iConomy because it wasn't really neccesary.
Basically, the server is survival, and I just made the map so it would be nice if we could create a city or something. Further, the server is 24/7, 20 player cap. It has a really cool map too, alot of forest, and jungle. But I only explored about 50 blocks far. So, JOIN GUYS.

Would any of you guys ever play 2b2t in space? I have money to set up a small 20 slot server and I've recently been enjoying 2b2t alot, but I feel like it still needs something unique. Space seemed pretty cool. I might do that or skylands. I just don't feel that skylands really changes much. Of course there won't be any rules and it will just be generally chaotic.
