Can't find a single bloody village anywhere with ExtraBiomesXL :/ [editline]27th April 2012[/editline] Does anyone know a good program for pregenerating SSP worlds? External would be nice.
Does Extrabiomes with Better Dungeons?
Does Extrabiomes with Better Dungeons?
Seeing as they both change terrain generation, probably not. [editline]27th April 2012[/editline] It would be nice if someone created a terrain generation system that you could just plug in different biomes and structures without conflict.
Does Extrabiomes with Better Dungeons?
Yes, it does. I don't think the Better Dungeons' dungeons spawn in the extra biomes though.
Someone write the Lusty Argonian Maid in Minecraft now.
Remake it for Minecraft: The Lusty Testificate Maid

So I'd way more biomes to teleport to and explore, and there would be awesome dungeons in each one.
Gah, been waiting for editable books forever. This is sweet.
Why the hell is the Buildcraft documentation something one has to pay for? It's absurd. Most large mods nowadays don't bother with a typed description of exactly how their mod functions, preferring instead Youtube videos narrated by someone with an extremely irritating voice; now they're charging for basic information?

You have to pay for it? That's a load of bullshit. It should be free.
I'm surprised no one's commented that the recipe for books have changed. You need three paper and a piece of leather per book as of the snapshot.
What the hell is that lusty Argonian maid thing?
it's a book from the elder scrolls games about a maid polishing her employers spear and placing a massive hard loaf of bread in her oven
Alright, just tested it. The Forge version of Mystcraft is compatible with Extrabiomes: meaning that some Ages in Mystcraft will render Extrabiomes biomes. More importantly, you can edit a new Age book before you go there. All of this means that you now have the ability to craft and render biome specific worlds tailored to your liking. (i.e. Tundra biome with hills, strongholds, enternal daylight, and a red sky). Pretty awesome combo here.
Speaking of Mystcraft, I got myself stuck in a jungle-only hilly world that has random pockets of glowstone under some large trees and yellow leaves. This world is also slowly going to die, as it is unstable. Oh god what do I do?
Craft more Age books and gtfo of there. It's unlikely you'll ever end up in the overworld again, but if you have a notebook and travel enough, you'll be able to make your ideal world. Eventually.
Does anyone know of any good automation mods (small or large) that aren't Buildcraft or Industrialcraft? Simplicity and not-too-modern would be nice.

I think that one wins by mere virtue of having free, up-to-date and comprehensive documentation. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xSgA6VSj1vFE56i7J-wZMEztxz6I1gPTRGHzy6alpHc/edit It's rare that I see the likes of this anymore, which is a shame.
Does anyone here who is handy with redstone help me with something? Basically, I want the signal to switch between on and off when I press a button, so like: Press first time -> Stays on - Presses second time -> Stays off Kind of hard to explain, but like a lever, just with buttons.

Yeah, RS-NOR Latch.
A device where Q will stay on forever after input is received by S. Q can be turned off again by a signal received by R.

Might not be correct, but an RS-NOR Latch?
Thank you! That's the one.
There's a much more compact piston design of the T Flip-Flop gate, not sure if anyone has a reference picture of it
I just did a long hard search for any reeds, and I found one total. On my way back to where spawn is I fell into the unstable block things when a column went down and I went with it. There are now no more reeds in that world within 1000 blocks in any direction. [sp]MC edit time[/sp] Fun mod, though
[t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2012-04-27_21.18_.23_.png[/t] This is the most basic design, the on signal should be connected to left wire and the output comes out the right.
Bullshit, you're lying. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2012-04-27_22.17_.23_.png[/t]
Dreadfully annoying to try and get an automatic cobblestone generator and smelter operational. Furnaces only output whether their fuel stock is full or empty, rather than smelting material or product. Had to use roaster; half as efficient with char/coal, which considering i'd run into the same problems smelting charcoal as I am with smelting stone, means fuel supply is a large problem :/
Holy shit I love mystcraft The first world I generated was a nether-y cave biome. I went "fuck that" and locked it in a vault Second world was a flat, forest thing. I liked this age, so I placed on top of an oak tree. Third world was a cold, floating island age. I also liked this, so I placed it on top of a pine tree. Must remember to bring some form of transport.
And Morrowind of course "Call me uncle Crassius", that guy was so creepy. Also, Terrafirmacraft is freaking awesome. If there's one thing that's lacking in vanilla it's the very short learning/technology curve. Terrafirma has incredible complexity, and the cave-ins are terrifyingly brilliant.
If someone could, someone should make a mod of JUST the cave ins. I love the idea of that but i dont want to install terrafirma just for it.
I generated a useful age. I got checkerboard, Jungle, desert, star fissure and crystals in it. Rather handy.
Was messing around with Mystcraft + ExtrabiomesXL mods, and then I teleported here: Wow.
Damn, you're good with mods. I doubt the stability of some of my ages, so I pop back in them every now and again. Apart from creepy fuckshit. I hate that age.
Was messing around with Mystcraft + ExtrabiomesXL mods, and then I teleported here: Wow.
Do you keep a separate layer of your character to past in your screenshots or something?
