Inner and middle reactor chambers completed! The middle chamber contains 30 MFSU's for a total of 300 million EU's of storage. Power is then transferred out of the middle chamber to the outer chambers and beyond by piping it across the support beams that hold up the central chambers. Also installed are some waterproofed pipes for piping of water and nuclear waste to/from the reactor core. (Note: the nuclear waste is just biomass, but it's green and liquid so its just for show) Next I'll work on the power plant's office building and underground areas that lead to the actual reactor chambers.

To answer the question above, the server I play on is private between friends at this time, sorry :(

Development build is broken.
Choose manual build, use the second newest one
Problem solved forever(except for the funky mob texture thing, just install another Optifine version over the modpack.jar)

Don't use the recommended build,use version 7.0.0

fuck me, a creeper got me while I was asleep
The most recent snapshot doesn't let me play Singleplayer now :I
When generating a world it just says "Connection refused: Connect", I would assume this is the new feature they hope to implement where it allows you to drop friends into your singleplayer world. Obviously not working for me.
The server single player idea was fucking horrible. What was Jeb thinking?
The server single player idea was fucking horrible. What was Jeb thinking?
It's the same system every single one of Quake's descendents uses, among myriad other games. The snapshot is it in it's embryonic form.
It's ridiculous to develop 2 versions of the game simultaneously, and thus far has led to SMP being basically neglected. 1 game, 1 set of bugs to fix.
[editline]7th May 2012[/editline]
It also means that the job of modders is made much easier; only need to code a mod once, and makes it easier for servers to track which mods are active and disable those which affect server functions can eb disabled(client/server relationship; anything that's rendering or telling the server what buttons the player is using falls under client; actual entity positions, interactions and world fall under server; to give a very brief description)

Having single player be a local server saves a whole lot of work in developing and is a logical step for minecraft to go in.

What work?
The server single player idea was fucking horrible. What was Jeb thinking?
It's a fucking good idea, actually. It's just currently rather poorly implemented but given it's literally the first rendition of it, that's to be expected.
Does anyone know how hardcore in multiplayer works?
The server single player idea was fucking horrible. What was Jeb thinking?
No, no, no, man, you're thinking all wrong. This is a good thing.
They have no choice but to fix SMP now.
What work?
Well making two versions of the same game and two versions of each mod?
Still have to make rendering stuff and stuff like that for the Client part...
Obviously, but right now the server part in single player is different from the server part in multi player, which is what they're working on changing.

This is the problem with Futurama. Its a comedy yet it so damn sad in some episodes.
So I just got minecraft and mods I installed for myself (smart movement mod for example) seem to work on other people servers, which do not have it installed
Is modding seriously that glitchy?
I'm interested in joining an SMP server. I don't really mind how big it is as long as it has decent connection and good frequenters. I'd also like to have someone of which I can join with so I don't have to start from scratch.

No, smart-moving is client side, it won't work probably on servers and other people won't see it.

Weird because I climbed up to the places which are impossible to get to without the mod
snip
I have two days to some how scrounge up enough money to buy a 1400 MSP card (have 200 points on my xbox) to get this game. I can't wait! It's going to be super fun playing with friends. Unfortunately none of my friends play Minecraft and my laptop doesn't play well with others.
I've heard that the worlds in the Xbox version will be really small.
I've heard that the worlds in the Xbox version will be really small.
They will be as large as one minecraft map can see. But we can all imagine that this will change with future updates. As it stands, it's much larger than Total Miner: Forge. Those maps were friggin tiny, though deep, still damn tiny.
No, smart-moving is client side, it won't work probably on servers and other people won't see it.
Turns out it's a "feature"
Weird because I climbed up to the places which are impossible to get to without the mod
I also have smart moving, the only part that doesn't work on servers is crawling and flying is glitchy at times but climbing, sprinting, and ledge grab all work. (unless the server has it installed)

It's much more than a comedy, that's what makes it so great:zoid:

I'm trying this, and it simply isn't working. All it does is load up Minecraft showing a white screen.
I deleted everything but my world(It won't work but meh)/saves/texture packs, but it never loads with v7/1.2.5
Edit: 7.0.1 works
Friend sent me this and got mad when I said it looked bad (Supposed to be the Temple of Doom)

Constructive criticism is objectively better than just saying it's bad, and it also proves you have a brain.
I actually just finished what he was talking about. The image he posted was clearly a work in progress.
