Guys, I need some help. I know I'm not very regular on the thread, but I was hoping someone could help.
I just installed BuildCraft, and the game is virtually unplayable because of it. Every two seconds, the game suffers a big lag spike. I can't do anything in the game. And before anyone says it:
Yes, I have OptiFine. Autosave is set to every three minutes.
No, I don't have any lengthy pipes. I'm just testing out the mod right now. I only have two pipes set up in the entire world.
My only other mod is TooManyItems.
Minecraft usually runs very smoothly for me. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

I think you should just keep explosions on. It's sort of cheating, since if you accidentally fuck up your reactor, you should learn by getting a fuckbig explosion to destroy your whole plant.

I know how you got them, but how did you go about doing it? I have a very poor record farming device, where I have to lure creepers and skeletons into the thing.
