Aww shit, I really sound like a desperate fuck in that post.
Meh, my point was more like that there are girls playing MC. And that is great somehow.
Havent seen many in other games, only around the internet.
Shit, i am too bad to explain my point.
and no, i do not go running around them. OMG A GURRRRRL like there is in a survival server where I play. And most of the players there are 11 or so. They can't even type properly.

Minecraft has pretty much become a part of pop culture, every single person I know has played it or atleast has a good idea of it, so it's really not surprising that the MC playerbase is diverse
Oh god, group of butterflies spawned in when I wasn't looking and when I turned back all I saw is this:

And a massive amount of framerate drop.
How long has that been down again? Isn't it about a year now?
Yeah, like a year last march. Shit man that means the server itself is about 2 years old. Fucking nostalgia.
With all these mods, my minecraft feels lively

I missed having fun in minecraft.

Yes.
From the more creeps and weirdos mod.
I don't like more creeps and weirdos
it may sound lame, but it just doesn't seem to fit in minecraft to me

When it was an early mod it was quite good.
But now it seems like it's made for 2 year olds.
No shit.
What exactly were you trying to achieve with that post?
He obviously knew that it isn't supposed to fit. That does not mean that his opinion is now invalid.
It's not like he's going to think "Ah right its not supposed to fit alright I'll like it now!"
He's stating the obvious.
I think I'm the first person to ever find out that you can't enchant hoes.
I joined the server that took over our IP after we shut our server down for a few months. Everything looked good; at the spawn there was a little town of nice players. It wasn't a rich town, all the houses were made of wood and cobble and the mine was just starting. I played and helped them for a few hours, until the admin and his band of warriors came in and attacked. They said "We are initiating war" and just started slaughtering villagers and burning houses. I hid in the woods for the "war" to be over, and then followed them back to their settlement using Smart Movement.
They had houses of nether brick and glowstone, though no nether portal was in view. There was gold blocks strewn around randomly and the sand on the beach had been replaced by diamond. A building of obsidian had a dispenser on a redstone loop and was shooting fireballs into the woods. Obviously none of this was legitimate, and they didn't need the supplies from the village, so they initiated war for fun.
I waited until they all left the server, and destroyed their town: burning the wooden bits, destroying the glowstone, letting lava loose inside of the obsidian building. I crafted a diamond pick and stole all of the diamond and gold and put them in a chest in one of the poor villager's houses. I left signs as to why I did this, and then logged off.

Looks like a mob grinder from times of lore. All that cactus seems to be proof. Do people still use cacti for defending their homes?

It's a replica of one of the bases of (what I think is?) the most famous minecraft LPer (or was at one point anyway)

He works on code for a starter up project (he works for free until the plan pulls off, I'm not sure how it works) He used to make money from doing youtube, but I think he make a lot of money now just from his server and donations.

He was the one that inspired me to start an LP of my own. Kinda failed but friends of mine want me to restart it so I am going to soon. I miss Coe's Quest... :(
Minecraft is one of the few games I feel legitimately nostalgic over in such a short amount of time. Like with other games I don't reminisce until years and years after the fact. With Minecraft I feel intense nostalgia after a few months.

Minecraft keeps you playing and interested in the game and has been updated, whether people like to admit it or not, quite a bit since the first few releases. Then, when you look back on when you first started, you get all nostalgic. You don't get nostalgic over other games because you're usually not playing them years after they first came out, and since very little gets updated in published games that changes the way it plays, your hardly able to get nostalgic over it in a short period of time.

I get nostalgic about games in at least a year's time. Speaking of, it's been about a year since beta 1.7. How does that feel, folks?
