And this, kids, is why you don't play with potions without an adult supervisor.

Seems like Minecraft has officially become unplayable.
The same happened to me on my main world from alpha.
No amount of MCedit pruning or optifining helped...
My god don't start messing with Forestry Bees, you'll lose your soul.

It takes a lot of luck, and in this case a lot of work, but it can be done.
Then don't use the Yogbox? Modpacks are usually unstable, don't blame minecraft for something that (most likely) mods cause.
Minecraft bores my ass off without mods.

Install the mods manually like a normal person.

I've always preferred Vanilla/near vanilla for some reason.
It just feels like large, elaborate mods ruin the mood of minecraft

The multi-player menu now scans for LAN servers (single-player worlds)
Villagers will remove trade options after the option has been used 3-15 times
Added wooden stairs for the remaining three wood types
Corrected Ender Chest storage (no longer whiped on respawning)
A lot of smaller changes and fixes

I do believe Jeb spelled wiped wrong.
I want slime blocks, and the thing I want them to do is make you accelerate when you move over them.

But slime is sticky.

Nah, he's just making minecraft more child-friendly.
*whip crack*
slime + sugar = speedy slime, which can be made into a block, maybe?
Go to the mod thread, ask them.
Christ they made the amazing Stick mod.
Still need redstone blocks jeb.
Reminds me of that redstone + slimeball = stickyredstone for walls idea. And then you could have redstone + sugar for "fast" redstone that travels for a longer distance before it finally slows down and stops, redstone + glowstone for redstone that lights up as much as a torch does when active, and glowing redstone torches could be made as a sort of togglable torch thing, like the comparative difference between glowstone (assuming it dropped the block for the sake of argument, like silk touch) and a redstone lamp kinda thing.
Uh, I'm gonna repost this on the mod thread and see if any of that could get into StickCraft
It just occurred to me that changing the game from having singleplayer and multiplayer as separate things to having singleplayer be lonely multiplayer is quite the undertaking. Players' computers are now hosting servers on which people play, regardless of whether it is only them playing or there are others too, and as such there is a higher drain on computer resources. They're trying to find a way around this but in the end, I'm not sure if they'll be able to have what they want while going back to previous levels of resource consumption.
Then again, I know nothing about hardware or programming.

The strain of running a server is two fold; it involves calculating serverside information on the host computer, and then sending and receiving that information. A server will lag because the internet connection is too slow to allow users to send and receive data between themselves and the host fast enough. The only way a host can have a drain computer resources while hosting a server is if a large number of players are doing things that are calculated serverside, like generating land or having a large mob spawner. (mobs are dealt with serverside to an extent, and generation is almost purely serverside) So, realistically, if you're playing a world Singleplayer, you'll see no extra drain on your CPU because the things that do cause CPU drain wouldn't be happening.
My friend found a 'hunger games' server, feel free to join
Hamachi server is hungergames'2 password hunger2
If the hamachi server is full just add one to the number on the end
Seems like fun, we just need more people

No. Here's why. Hamachi is awful for multiple reasons. The first being that Hamachi is meant for LAN servers, not hosting servers on the internet. The connection get extremely laggy when the distance is increased even slightly, and, depending on your internet connection, you usually won't be able to handle an excess of 5+ people. Here's another reason; using Hamachi means you're obviously home hosting, and knowing that, I can guarantee you your home computer is not up to par with the servers most people spend money to host from. Your home computer is slow, unoptimized for running servers with a large number of people, and this gets even worse when you run it while you're playing as well. Finally, "Hunger Games" is done to death and not enjoyable. Tons of people have "Hunger Games" servers what makes yours special or enjoyable? If you want to get people to play on your server, rent one from a well known host, make the server unique and fun, and don't advertise it in the Chat Thread.

While this is 85% correct, I've used Hamachi to host servers between multiple colleagues at a time with existing, but few problems. The point still stands that Hamachi can't be used to run a public server.
Hamachi is terrible. Port forward.

But slimes already are blocks. Ergo, slime blocks. Moving, but still.

I lose so many people at this point when they ask how to host a server.
Google's more patient anyways.
I kinda wish Notch still worked on minecraft, it was buggy and slow but the friday updates were always special, and got exciting about the smallest things, like stairs and fences
Meh, minecraft felt more closer to the heart when it was notches project, but I'm glad jeb is advancing it at the same time
Notch was doing fine until he decided that he had too much money and decided to go on vacation. Then we entered a downward spiral where we waited months for a pitiful update that didn't add much to the game until Jeb rescued development.
