Make the clock actually work using only vanilla Minecraft.
shit time to learn redstone
I run a small server with a few friends. Sometimes, my friends invite their friends on.
I know that feeling.

The new version of mine & blade: battlegear adds a quiver doesn't look the greatest on a x128 texture pack, but it ain't horrible. at least the arrows in the quiver use the same texture as the texture pack you currently have on.

Aside for Mine and blade.
You probably get asked a thousand times a day, but what mods are you using? Aside for Mine and blade.
Looks like Advanced Shaders or whatever, and maybe MoreBiomesXL.
Mine and Blade is one of the few (many) mods that needs to be a part of vanilla minecraft. Minecraft is hardly a game (mostly just a sandbox dickaround), especially with its "combat", and having the features from Mine and Blade in vanilla Minecraft would be sooooo good. I just hate that Jeb will either take forever to do it, or not add it in at all.
You probably get asked a thousand times a day, but what mods are you using? Aside for Mine and blade.
Aside from mine & blade I am using Jammy's furniture mod Aquaculture Better Dungeons Chococraft Crafting table III Mo'Creatures Trains and Zeppelins Treecapitator Too many Items Butterflies Singleplayer Commands Optifine ( can be considered a dependency since Sonic Ether's Shaders need it to work) Sonic Ether's Unbelieveable Shaders and their dependencies. The list varies constantly though since I keep adding mods or removing some.
So what good texpacks have decent mod support? Sphax is alright, but the animals are ugly and the colors are too pastel.
Added tower roofing, a fountain, a path, an entrance and some bushes. [t]http://puu.sh/DzXc[/t]
I just realized I haven't played Minecraft the REAL way in awhile. All I've been doing is creative mode. Hmm. Maybe actually having to put effort into my buildings will make it less boring.
Added tower roofing, a fountain, a path, an entrance and some bushes. [t]http://puu.sh/DzXc[/t]
I like your walls, and the roofs of the towers, but not the walls of the towers. You either need a less noisy texture pack, or something to break up the walls more/add more detail. Arched windows maybe? Also, would you kindly post a close up of your wall? I've never been good at making walls, and yours look detailed yet small small enough.
Added tower roofing, a fountain, a path, an entrance and some bushes. [t]http://puu.sh/DzXc[/t]
Are you building these in creative or survival? For some reason I always have a hard time building structures of any sort in survival mode that aren't 100% practical.
The seed "aoxomoxoa" generates a pretty cool map, you start out next to a ravine (I actually fell into it as I spawned) in a grassland with a metric fuckton of sheep and cows. There's lots of open caves to explore, several impressive-looking mountains nearby and a large desert with a well and a handful of above-ground sources of lava. There's also some cool jungle/swamp islands across a small sea, east of the spawn, and a pyramid next to a jungle with tons of goodies toward the southeast. Cool little seed.
Well the seed Exploration spawns you on a wimpy islet with just a few wolves.

Is it normal for golems to simply disappear? [t]http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/4056/20120625190134.png[/t] There used to be 5 of them in there. Could they have suffocated from server lag and being pushed?
I believe snow golems despawn.
Nothing despawns anymore. However, they do have a problem with suffocating in walls.
Nothing despawns anymore.
Hostile mobs.
What is there to work towards now? I haven't really played survival since before levels were implemented. Is there a max level or something?
What is there to work towards now? I haven't really played survival since before levels were implemented. Is there a max level or something?
Killing the Enderdragon. Remember back when Notch said that Minecraft was dragon-free? Yeah, he lied.
Hostile mobs.
Well, besides that, yes.
Diamonds are still a huge pain in the ass to find it seems.
You guys know of any servers that are just starting out?
It isn't really HARDCORE without Somnia. Zombies get to break your door in your sleep. After fending off for a while in my usual 3x3 hut... [t]http://i.imgur.com/yIsMk.png[/t] I'm calling in sick today.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/gKFDf.png[/t] OH FOR FU- Maybe I should invest in an iron door if Creepers can open doors. I was going fishing tomorrow, too. Blew the entire house down, yet missed the garden. Creeper accuracy, folks.
