I didn't know Endermen could do this. It just appeared out of nowhere, not spawned, but teleported.
It stole a block, and teleported again. There was no enderman in the area though.
That is new to me.

On Profan's server, an Enderman haunts me. I've never bothered one on the server, but periodically (every couple real-time days or so), an enderman will teleport in front of me and teleport away nearly instantly. It really freaks me out.

I started a creative world in the newest snapshot and it's basically an island surrounded by ocean for what is probably miles. There's an Enderman who sticks around because it's the only land there is; occasionally he will teleport away only to return within a few minutes. He's like a bro.

Will the mod feature new ores? Uranium ore would make sense considering its setting, as would the ability to make nuclear devices. It's been done before but I think it would be great. At least in my humble opinion.
Also, can we get an approximate release date? Can hardly wait.

A majority of the game does not revolve around mining, however a few ores will be made to be used in a few crafting recipes. For obvious reasons, there's no more diamond, and the ores that do exist are derivatives of the ores used to make real ingots like pig iron, tin, and steel.

Just for the record - steel is an alloy, it isn't mined.

I think what he means is you'll be making the real metals, similar to how IC2 has you create bronze.
