So I installed TFCraft just to give it a go and installed it with my usual mods, those being rei's minimap, smartmove, NEI, and InvTweaks, and I generate up a world with a random seed. I go about collecting these little rocks on the ground which turn out to be flint, which is used to make the most basic of tools. I see some weird ass dirt looking stuff and collect it and I get some clay out of it.
I decide to look up and get a view of my surrounding when SWEET FUCK JESUS WHAT IS THAT

Is it possible to trade anything other than emeralds? It should be possible to barter with other things, especially gold.
I think it would be cool if villagers would attack you if you steal wheat or other items from the villages.

You can trade other misc stuff when the offer is available. I got an offer for Cooked Chicken once, and according to the Minecraft Wiki, Gold Ingots are a sort of backup in case no other offers are available.
