The hunger bar felt like a pain for the first few days playing, but then it turned to be a neat feature. Now I don't have to keep switching to a Pork Chop that doesn't stack every few seconds.

Well my family just gave me this pc they had lying around. I have Optifine and a ATI Radeon HD 2400. I can still log in if I click on the location of the username and password box. After that Minecraft works fine.
What the fuck it's working now.
The hunger bar can be annoying at first, but I got used to it and I think it's a cool concept.
They need an option to turn it on or off though. A Hungry setting. "Classic", food doesn't stack, and heals hp instantly, no hp regen, just like the good days.
"Bar", how it is now
Also "Semi-Bar" for a hunger bar that doesn't drain when you jump a bunch of times to get up a hill. (Making my mountain base costed me 33 chicken simply from getting up onto the mountain)

sorry for not showing it to you.
there are almost no trees in these islands, excluding the one in the farthest bottom right corner.
the island I spawned in only had about 1 tree, that I grew into a tree farm.
each other island has 0 - 1 trees.
outside of these islands, there is only, pretty much, ocean.

Build Rapture under the water.
Or make a boat and travel really really far, then set up elsewhere.
Or you could just build a nether gate and walk a few hundred blocks in the nether then build another gate instead of rowing. Actually it would be interesting to have an island home in the middle of nowhere that could only be accessed by nether gate.

i'm actually thinking of connecting all of the islands together.

Oh yeah, I tried reinstalling Java, but it still has an error. I don't really know what happened.

Minecraft servers, you can't do anything about it.
Just wait. :v:

My brother's computer had a Radeon 7000 (long before the HD series).
Will the snapshot come out today?

jeb said he would roll out snapshots a week for release, so that should mean every thursday.

Needs to be like this for maximum overdrive enchanting:

Alternatively, you can cut the top layer of bookshelves off if you're using the 1.3 snapshots.

Have you guys read about the API meeting? Here's a list of stuff that's going to be added.
Mojang Issue Tracker API suggestions
More detailed changelog, including changes that might break developer’s work
Minimise backwards incompatible changes
Making the client a true client
Online repository of mods
Getting data from a trusted source when joining a server requiring a mod
Possible third party repositories, with nagging
Sandboxing of plugins on client/server (with possible user-accepted breakouts)
Change Minecraft to stop trusting user input (fixes all current exploits other than x-ray)
Getting custom assets
Add new features to API over time - idea being to not need to break open the JAR file
Technical Nit-picking.
Corosus woke up.
Content distribution.
Native support for larger than 16x16 texture packs.
Variable texture sizes also available - any block texture can be any size.
Native MipMap support.
Future plans to deprecate OpenGL 1.x, and use more advanced rendering features in OpenGL 2.x
Localization: For plugins.
Too high up. It's a shame you can't take artistic liberties like that.

Should look like this:

Why does Native MipMap Support have a different emphasis on each word?
Why does Native MipMap Support have a different emphasis on each word?
Because it excites me.
I hope it doesn't break AA. OptiFine's mipmapping does, so you have to use OptiFine's AA, which is incredibly slow.
Well, good thing i have made a basement before building the house itself.
I'll just get some more bookshelves, and make my basement my storing/enchanting room.
Those particles would be probably pretty annoying anyway.
I like mipmapping but it makes rails and ladders look like poop.
