I don't get how you guys can use things like Redpower, IndustrialCraft, etc, haha. I can barely use vanilla redstone wiring as it is, let alone make some of the amazing contraptions you fellas come up with.
If I kill the villagers in Millienare, do they respawn?
Oh, right. Getting used to redpower :v:

Another question - can Industrial Craft's generators (wind mill, especially) overheat or explode from no use? Because I want to use windmills as a decorative ventilation but I'm afraid that something could happen to it
no

RedPower makes redstone easier, example is making a piston door in vanilla takes up a HUGE area, but making one with RedPower takes like a 3x3 square.
Really enjoying the latest snapshot, can't wait to see the cabins people make.
My rather modest cabin in the woods after a some time playing.

I don't think any of the IndustrialCraft things can explode except for the nuclear reactor, but I doubt you're going to use nuclear reactors as decoration :v:
Is there a way to destroy the stupid locked chests in settlements in Millienaire?

Not just easier, less retarded.

Overvoltage = bang

I built one in my basement because it looked cool and industrial.
So, I made a world in minecraft 360 edition with the seed -1074506556. How do I get that seed on the pc version in creative mode? What version do I have to downgrade to, and can I just downgrade-createtheworldwiththeseed-reupgrade?
Well he fixed the Egg teleportation, but why not make a use for it?
Do you mean the MCEdit trajectory thing? That seemed pretty useful for survival maps.
basically my first post here in like a month
and my last probably
but

This grew from a small redpower test where we tried to make automatic obsidian factory. Works only in daytime (solar panels), shuts down at night (light sensor), has an on/off lever and a lightswitch.

Also, is there any other block other than solar panel that produces blulectricity?
[editline]25th July 2012[/editline]
My idea with windmills for decorative ventilation didn't really work, they look cool but they stop working after some time (overheating?)
Redpower has a thermopile I think

I've sat there for literally seven or more hours on one building, enjoying myself the entire time.
What's the best way to power a quarry? I was using steam engines but they keep guzzling lava buckets.
Electric engines work well if you have forestry.
You can also hook up a ton of redstone engines to conductive pipes. I think it's 32 redstone engines to 1 combustion engine.
whats the difference between technic and tekkit?
and whats equivalent exchange

Tekkit has less mods and is more for SMP.
EE is an alchemy mod, pretty OP though.

Technic is for SSP, tekkit is for SMP. Tekkit has less mods.

I am assuming all of these pictures and posts about quarries and electric generators and such are the tekkit and technic mods.
I am assuming all of these pictures and posts about quarries and electric generators and such are the tekkit and technic mods.
they are from mods that are in tekkit/technic. they are not specifically from it though. it is a mod pack.
Not related to Tekkit, but I made another hardcore world two days ago, and it was going rather nicely. Had melons, pumpkins, a nice wheat farm, nearly 50 diamonds, came across 7 dungeons, had a nice blaze farm in the nether and I was working on getting Ender pearls for the stronghold.
Well, down in a ravine, I took just a few seconds to stretch; while looking out over a lava spring. A skeleton shot me in the lava, though thankfully I had a water bucket on me and removed the lava, but then ran around on fire watching my precious hearts disappear. I then went in a little hole and died.

Though quite mad and sad, I'm smiling since I had a great time getting to where I was, and will do it again some day.
If I kill the villagers in Millienare, do they respawn?
I think you'll have to kill all the adult men villagers, and then raid the chests in the town hall and find a wand of negation. There should be one in every village. Then you have to right click on the town hall to stop villagers from respawning.

Xbox 360 uses 1.6 of Minecraft, but 1.7.3 should also work fine.
