So ever since MineCraft: Pocket Edition got that Survival Mode update, I've been playing it non-stop, killing zombies assuming they don't care the shit outta me first.
What do you guys think about this?
Is there any way for an admin on a server to replace a broken spawner?
I'm really late on this and been searching all over to find an answer to why mining acts differently in single player. There's a delay in between breaking blocks so with enchants like Efficiency IV I cannot break blocks such as sand and dirt at rapid speeds unlike multiplayer, where I can. Anyone know what causes this or if there's a fix around it. It's really put me off playing single player more than I already am.
It's most likely related to the 'fix' notch did to the click mine technique.

I was wondering why I saw a zombie floating in a pool midday. Jesus Christ on a bicycle so many creepers trying to float up.

oh man the new technic build is so dreamy
new pocket edition out for android ios needs to be approved HUrRY UP APPLE I WANT GLORIFIED iPAD 2 MINECRAFT askldjlasjdjslk
Would anyone play on my Buildcraft + Industrialcraft + RedPower server again? Ramalayha asked me so kindly what happened to it and suggested I put it up again. Should I go through the trouble of doing it? [release] Rate: Useful if you would. Optimistic if you wouldn't. [/release]
Make a technic pack server. The new release is much better, and creates its own ".minecraft" folder alongside the original.
I'd prefer to choose the mods I want, but make it compatible with technic pack? It would be bukkit because of logblock and useful plugins.
2nd day of Minecraft for me. Just mining and farming around my own house, minding my own business on some random Vanilla server I found when 2 douche bags come up in their diamond armor thinking they're all badass, they randomly kill me and so I respawn at my bed in my house thinking haha, fuckers. Climb my ladder and notice the whole upper floor (where everything was) is now lava...Started my own server.

Welcome to minecraft smp :)
PM me an IP?
It is just a vanilla server for my buddy and I, plus I can't guarantee it'll be up at all times so I don't see the point to advertise it.
I present to you, the world's smallest ravine: [img_thumb]http://i40.tinypic.com/lfszc.png[/img_thumb]
Jon and I have been working on a new map format for Minecraft that we’ve dubbed “Anvil” (it’s just a name). The purpose of the new format is to prepare for modding, especially to allow for more block types, but also to improve other areas of the game (such as map height). The changes are: ● Maximum build height has been increased to 256 (was 128) ● Empty sections of the world are not loaded into memory ● Block ids have been increased to 4096 (was 256) by adding a 4 bit data layer (similar to how meta data is stored) ● Block ordering have been changed from x/z/y to y/z/x in order to improve compression ● Packets for sending chunks have been updated (a full 128-high chunk is smaller than the old format, and a chunk with lots of empty space is much smaller) ● Biomes are saved per x/z column, which means they can be altered by tools ● The next snapshot, and Minecraft 1.2, will automatically convert worlds to the new format. The files of the current format (“McRegion”) will remain in your save folder, if you need to restore them for some reason. I’ve prepared a converter (with source code) for tool makers that wants to be prepared. You do not need to use this to convert your maps! It’s only for reference!
Fucking finally.
Wow, that's awesome.

I meant "scared" but okay. Happy Valentine's Day
Fucking finally.
the increase in block id's is even better
Fucking finally.
Oddly enough, I'm the most excited about easy-to-modify biomes :v:
I present to you, the world's smallest ravine: [img_thumb]http://i40.tinypic.com/lfszc.png[/img_thumb]
Install an ICBM silo, and THEN make your home in it.
Yeah snip.

If you want a way around that, there's a small, easy to install mod that will remove that block delay in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
seed/location please.
Unfortunately, it was on my friend's server, and I didn't get a location for it. The seed is 95524309016913444. On the latest snapshot, if that makes a difference.
