I've had that happen with unenchanted picks. It's a general bug that happens with any tools, like Flint and Steel.
These mountain biomes are amazing, at least without that damn lighting bug.
Also, fuck endermen.
I get the feeling that 1.3.x's will be fixing up smp bugs
so, how long does it usually take for big mods like buildcraft or industrialcraft to update?
i'm kinda new to mods and such.
This update has almost as many bugs as the Adventure update.
How do you leave the minecraft servers?
I'm having a hard ass time.

I think you have to download a 1.2.5 minecraft.jar and replace it with the 1.3 one.

I don't mind bugs, but this bug was in the pre-release throughout it's existence. It's also a very obvious bug. It should have been fixed before 1.3 came out officially.

If I have a lot of doors in a village then kill a villager, do the remaining villagers mate and make a new baby villager? So we can like semi-cheat to get a whole lot of different professions etc

It's really annoying how mojang always goes "fuck bugtesting". I mean, it was okay before the release, and it's understandable with the snapshots and pre-releases but fuck, it's the damn official update. They should get some quality.

You can use the tekkit dev build for that, it runs on 1.2.5
