I actually just came back and did too
https://www.dropbox.com/s/roh0jcqls741yvq/BlockOfCoal.zip Extract to minecraft.jar, delete META-INF. Only thing I couldn't get working was it behaving like Netherrack. I think I know why though.
I have been trying to join any server now for an hour, its always ''cant be reached'' or ''communication error''. Nothing that ive done does any difference. Anyone maybe have a solution?

It was fun. Modding without ModLoader is awful though. I might update it once ModLoader is updated if you want.
That would be lovely.
Will do.
It's out :v: [editline]3rd August 2012[/editline] It still would be nice if someone could make a texture which is not a copy paste of the coal pieces in the ore :v:
Well that was fast. Updating now.
Is it just me, or are villagers very reluctant to make babies? I even tested it in creative with a lot of doors and two villagers, they make little hearts etc. then nothing happen and one runs away to a house.
Is there a way to get around the multiplayer-like lag in 1.3.1 SSP?

It's kinda funny actually, one is chasing the other with hearts above its head, and the other is not interested at all. Broke my auto merge :< Okay never mind, they're reluctant but they'll do it eventually. To make up for this blunder, have a picture showing A) My texture pack and B) a massive long group of water or ocean chunks in the middle of nowhere, as shown on the map(Long blue line) and the odd drop. Updated. https://www.dropbox.com/s/roh0jcqls741yvq/BlockOfCoal.zip
Once again, awesome work, thank you!
No problem. Ask if you want anything else.
RedStone block maybe, Works like a redstone torch (Gives off power) and also gives out as much light as glowstone? Made the same as all the others but with redstone dust.
Sure. Give me a texture.
Damn, I'll be done in 5-10 mins, I'm not too fast at texturing. [editline]4th August 2012[/editline] If you don't like it feel free to work on it or redo it.
I find it really annoying how villager trades are not balanced at all. A librarian offered me an emerald for 25 pieces of paper, then his second trade offered me 1 emerald for 14 books. One book is 3 paper and 1 leather, meaning its a total of 14 leather and 43 paper. That is not even at all. Next update should balance trading imo
https://www.dropbox.com/s/i89ho5hat6epgzh/BlockOfRedstone.zip Did the best I could. The coding for redstone hates me I think. The block can only power things indirectly. Which means you need a block in between this block, and what you're trying to power. I honestly don't know why. [editline]3rd August 2012[/editline] Basically, I'll make anything that doesn't have to do with providing redstone.
Wow, That texture turned out a hell of a lot better than I expected it to.

I think the villager trading system could take a hint from Equivalent Exchange. I know some of you guys don't like the mod, (whether it's for the overpowered items or the exponential gains aspect) but it has internal consistency which is nice when compared to one villager that demands 21 wheat for an emerald and another villager that offers four bread for one emerald in the same village. I want the trades to be at least somewhat useful, not exorbitantly retarded.

The array that lists prices is completely random and generated on the fly rather than being predefined. This is meant to simulate towns having different economic needs, but in the end, because it's done on a villager to villager basis and not a village to village basis, it doesn't work. It's why you can sometimes get an emerald for emerald exchanges.
Could you make it glow at least, like Glowstone? :v:
It already does.
All these shitty servers being advertised--I'm just playing some good 'ol vanilla with some friends over skype

The current system is more broken than an imported Yugoslavian car.
What server software will just make it so all commands cannot be used like /time, /give, etc. Bukkit is still only 1.2.5 compatible for now. :saddowns:
