God dammit whatever happened to the mod API?
https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/235725869933535232 https://github.com/Mojang/Minecraft-API Basically, we now know that the API is in progress.
So Dinnerbone tweeted this picture.
What are those things outlining it? Looks like we might get some sort of microblocks too. EDIT: Count me out of the loop, I haven't even used 1.3 yet. Those aren't microblocks at all, just cobblestone fences
What are those things outlining it? Looks like we might get some sort of microblocks too.
Stone fences outlining TNT outlining beds, not microblocks.

The "art with beds" thing has been around for a while, same as doing inlaid patterns in the floor using stair blocks.
Next minecraft version is shaping up to be pretty damn good. What is with this dinnerbone guy andpowering through new features?

He's pretty cool with what he's adding. I wonder what he'll be doing next? Hopefully something to do with Skill Points; we were kinda promised those some time back.
Dinnerbone made wolf collars able to be dyed. https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/236530180737335296 (no picture though)

Someone request an update to maps in general, I don't know how to use this twitter bird thing.
DYEABLE FLOWERS
DYEABLE FLOWERS
I'd go around dying red flowers yellow and yellow flowers red, so that when people collected them for crafting into the dyes again, they'd be confused and get the yellow dye from what they thought were red flowers, and vice versa!
dyeable dyes
So would it be possible to have fake diamond armor? Just colored leather? That'd be cool and bad at the same time. You could rip people off in trades
Doesn't diamond have that little reflection on it though, that you wouldn't get with leather, or dyed leather?
maybe dyed iron, who knows
So would it be possible to have fake diamond armor? Just colored leather? That'd be cool and bad at the same time. You could rip people off in trades
Cyan-dyed leather armour, enchanted with level 1 enchantments to help the illusion.
We defintely need dyeable air.
Apply dye to glass... colored glass?
No you know what we need? Beacons that can be seen through blocks. Tunnel construction is mostly guesswork, luck, and stripping huge areas to try and find the other tunnel. There's some planning in there, but it's usually a crash course. Or if it's multiplayer, just get someone to stand in the other tunnel, same idea only this doesn't require making people stand around.
Or... you know... look at the coords in the debug view?
The thing about these dyes is it will probably be very bad for texturepacks with detailed armor, such as Sphax. Depending on how they are implemented. And if the coloring is anything like it is with sheep wool then we'd have to rely on MCPatcher to be able to change the colors at all.
Look who decided to show their...face... AAAAAAAH!! [t]http://i.imgur.com/MAFgz.png[/t] QUICK! GRAB THE MUSKET! In comes the new age of collecting Ender Pearls!
Good point. If dinnerbone added the ability to give names to weapons I'd love him forever
And then make it appear in the chat that NAME was slain by NAME with WEAPON NAME. ... A lot of "with his dick" names incoming.
I have a stack and a half of Leather. What to do?
If you need to up your enchant, invest your Leather into book-making, with which you can create the bookshelves required to power up your enchanting table, and of course to build the table in the first place.
I can't wait to dye my armor and uuuuuuhh wear it I guess
Apply dye to glass... colored glass?
Stained Glass. Would be cool, just made a chapel and couldn't give it stained glass, which sucked.
I have a stack and a half of Leather. What to do?
Books.
