I need someone's help. I'm building my first actual building--a castle, and I'm stuck. I made some cylindrical watchtowers for each corner, and I wanted to do a spiral staircase type thing, but I just can't. Will upload some screenshots for whoever will help. Thankies ♥

I already have nearly a stack of books, which is more than enough to get up to thirty levels. I took the opportunity to make enough books before the server I play on updated to 1.3.
Plus, I have a lot of iron, so armor isn't a problem.

Nah. Not exactly what I meant. I didn't mean a magic that the game will revolve around (as it is in TC/EE), but just as a way to enchant raw stone into different things. Crafting items with a Magic Rock would make an elemental rock or a level rock.

Does anyone own a server just for FPers? If so, is there also a FP server with skype so you can use microphone instead of typing, since when I play minecraft I like to just build, not type, and I dont mind using my microphone, and I do tend to like to talk.

To a point I feel that way, and have become accustomed to trying to figure out all the ways I could make something look like furniture. On the other hand, it simplifies the process.

I would help, just gotta offer what the payers get in return, of course they get the server up in return, but people might want something else, kinda like special donations abilities. Anyway, how much is it to keep it up?

Debug view shouldn't be used for normal gameplay, realistically. It's called debug for a reason. This is why maps and compasses exist even though you could just write down/remember coordinates.

What I would like is a "dead mode" or "spectator mode" for Minecraft. Basically, it's a hardcore mode feature.
If you die in hardcore mode, instead of having it delete your world, it should just let you enter "spectator mode". You are not a player or anything for that matter, you're just a moving, invisible camera. You can fly around the world freely, and even go through walls, except you can't generate new chunks. This will allow players the ability to see how much progress they had made before they suddenly died, to give them a sense of achievement.
It'd especially be useful in multiplayer if for some reason you decided to make a hardcore mode server. Maybe give it the option to teleport to players at random upon left and right clicking. It could even be useful for administration. Of course, chat would be limited to other spectators unless saying otherwise.
So I've been recording the two first episodes of a tekkit let's play with equivalent exchange and buildcraft disabled, would anyone like to watch it?
