The carrot on a stick would allow you to actually control your pig, and it will be faster than walking.
Crafted like a fishing-pole, but the string at the bottom is replaced with a carrot.

If you say /give [map's data value] 1 [number of the map you lost] then you should get the map back.

would give you map_02, I believe. It's been a while since I needed to do so though, I could be rusty on that.

Im having serious trouble with Minecraft.
For some reason it keeps randomly lagging massively for hours with nothing apparently causing it.
Does anyone know whats wrong? I do have a powerful PC so I dont get why it would lag so randomly at intrevials, it even does it in singleplayer.
Does anyone have any good tutorials on how to start a server? Just the basics like port forwarding and such; trying to help a friend out but I have no idea myself.
