That won't work since lots of people have ideas and good ideas will just get buried in all the terrible ideas.
If there are stools you should be able to rightclick them and sit on them with the same anim as boat-sitting, and it should work on stairs too.

With it working with stairs that would fuck up building with stairs a hell of a lot.

Then just send the team a link to your idea on Twitter or something. They have said they prefer Reddit for ideas since people can vote on popularity and it's pretty simple for everyone to submit ideas.
NPC villages grow different kind of crops now instead of only wheat.

My sound disappears after a few minutes of gameplay. I've already updated Java and LWJGLm which did not fix the issue.

Wither skeletons are slightly bigger than normal ones and wield a sword:

You can spawn them in then nether by using a skeleton egg.
But you need a nether portal to get them to the overworld.
On the one hand, Jeb is like the saviour of minecraft, fixing up Notch's code and half baked ideas. On the other hand, it seems like he can't help but add totally irrelevant shit whenever he gets the chance.
I'd honestly have preffered Notch stay as a creative advisor or something and Jeb just stick to fixing stuff and updating existing features, like the villagers now growing other crops.

For some it's totally irrelevant shit and for some it's what they've been waiting for.
Being able to just summon a Wither is kind of a stupid idea, to be honest, and a little game-breaking (to clans) if it's kept as a hidden wrath waiting to be infiltrated and placed even if Wither Skeletons' Skulls are rare (2.5% drop chance).

I like most everything in this update, a lot of cosmetic changes and gameplay changes. I just don't like how they're coupled with "the somewhat scary update" with things like the Wither. I don't really have a problem with the Wither myself, he just seems kind of tacked on. Like how Notch used to drop things he didn't know what to do with into dungeon chests. And then the beacon block is tacked onto the Wither, don't get me started on that...
while i like the idea of grinding for a beacon block and making an area to kill the wither, i want more wandering overworld mobs
I still want to slay an Ankylosaurus somewhere in the game. Something not with too much "phenomenal cosmic power" and to give new players a taste of bosses without being that tough.

itd be better if you get to use one of the buffs, considering how strong the wither is. itd be like a dramatic boss battle, imagine it at night during a thunderstorm on top of a mountain!

and by grinding i thought the beacon block was craftable without killing the wither, and when you have it you could prepare a battlezone (like a mountain..)
