Still not following...
Does it have to do with griefing?
Line breaks!
I've been waiting for the server I play to finally come back online for 2 days.
And it has...but....failed to login :(
[editline]9th September 2012[/editline]
I guess Notch spilled orange soda on the servers again like in 2010.

Eclipse is a program you can use to write and compile code for java.
Dead again
I don't understand why this isn't a bigger issue. A significant amount of people have been having issues logging into this game for the past couple of hours.
Honestly it happens quite a few times a week.

Session servers are down. Not sure why this long (unless maintenance) You would think with as much money as Minecraft makes them the Session servers would never go down
I usually agree with what you have to say, Zero-Point, but right now it's coming across like you think you own Notch's ass because you bought a copy of his game. Yeah, he got bored with Minecraft, but he's still the one who gave us this amazing toy to play with.
Sorry you see it that way, 'cause it's not like that at all. Notch is allegedly a grown-ass man, he can do what he wants with his company. I was merely stating the mistakes he's made to garner such negative attention. What's past is past, and the game is on a pathway to a brighter future despite whatever trials and tribulations it's had in the past.
Two people press a button at the exact same time. Now what? What about inverted circuits? Pressing a button that turns a torch off, which turns a torch on. Is it going to carry through all that? What about something like a BUD? How does it know who updated that block if it's a piston that did the updating?
It's not simple, and it'd probably lead to more problems then it's worth. Just put the player in an airlock and use @p
Why not a tool to "link" an activator to the command block? Link a pressure plate to it, then what-ever other complicated circuitry you have along the way, it registers who triggered the plate. Multiple people press it at the same time somehow? Choose by simple math dividing by the number of players.
Well, I found a village in the south-western corner of the unexplored world, so now as they dig their hole I build a wall.
Line breaks!
how do you use them?
Y'know, one think i'd like would be the ability to confer your "spiritual experience" unto others like a mentor, using your gathered souls to train them. One example is the more obvious one, teaching a villager certain professions like Archery or Swordsmanship or Alchemy. Another is closer to home; giving experience to your non-human allies, aka your Golems, Cats, Dogs, Pigs, etc. And on that note, I think Wolves should be able to absorb XP and level up.

"/n"? Why a forward slash? "\n" is how linebreaks are pretty much everywhere else.
So I was playing technic pack singleplayer and I have no idea where to start,
So I decided that myst craft would be a good place to get stuff. Encountered a cave world with plenty of chests floating on the water.

They are filled with stuff you'd find in dungeons.
going to hell is magic
making a bow is technology

Aye; partly that, and partly the notion of the Lone Wizard of Technology being a remnant of an advanced culture; one that came between the precursory times of the sorcerous Pigmen and the dark feudal era of the Testificates. To the best of his knowledge, he is the last living member of his species, at least until he learns how to use the purification ritual (Splash Potion of Weakness, then use Golden Apple) on normal human zombies, though perhaps those ones are too far gone? Centuries, maybe even millennia of undeath would probably mean most human zombies have gone "hollow". But if the ritual does end up working on human zombies (in a future patch hopefully), there should be some interesting results.
Also is it just me, or do Desert Villages not have Churches? Stonewall Village seems to be lacking one; when 1.4 hits I may strive to construct a chapel or modify the town hall similarly; nonetheless said chapel will have a Beacon in it, should I summon and confront the Wither within an arena of my own design, claiming its Star as my own.
I was thinking of entering that Threadless loves Minecraft contest but after looking at the current highest voted designs, I think I might not.

Thaumcraft Mini Dungeons, I love them.
I really am starting to realize potential for this game. I thought of a few amazing ideas within seconds. Of course, they take time, and that was my previous reason for disliking this game; too much time. And then you realize it takes time to create anything awesome/creative, so it's kind of a meh feeling for me now and I just keep playing.

That's why when I play I spend the first couple hours mining, cutting down trees, building my basic shelter and collecting iron and such. Then when I want to start building things I have all my basic necessities down and I don't have to do much more than cut down a few trees or replace a few tools.
And so begins the construction of the giant underwater dome.
Fuck.
Right now i'm creating a parkour map which is really difficult but fair. Is there any intrest here for this stuff or not? If there is i'll post some screenshots of the beta.
