I set off 3 Nova Catalysts right next to each other. It made a booboo.

Getting back into Minecraft a bit. I continued my 1.3.1 world. Managed to get a decent wheat farm and a small pig farm set up. Just waiting for the grass to make it's way over. I didn't want to build my house in a snow biome. [t]http://db.tt/NjBx7Rsq[/t]
Anyone up for providing textures? Egyptian style mod (I think).
You know how skeletons just 360 no scope you in the face when you get near them even if you are behind them? Well i have a idea that maybe could solve that and maybe make them more deadly. Skeletons should draw their bow, like how a player does. Once in the line of sight of a player it will have the animation of drawing a bow and after a couple seconds it will shoot. Because of the time it takes to draw and it being vulnerable, if he shoots you fully drawn it does about 4-5 hearts of damage. If hit while drawing it will automatically shoot its drawn arrow. Also once it shoots a arrow, it should have a second to then draw again.

Perhaps if they had a further range of vision it'd give them more time to fully draw their bow before the player can reach them with a sword.
Right now skeletons are the most annoying mob to fight. Nothing pisses me off more when those fuckers turn around instantly and hit me for two hearts of damage.
Right now skeletons are the most annoying mob to fight. Nothing pisses me off more when those fuckers turn around instantly and hit me for two hearts of damage.
Skeletons aren't actually that bad. They have a delay between shots that almost seems to lengthen if you hit them, and if you block their arrows deal almost no damage. So if you approach them blocking and then charge them once they hit or miss you, you can usually kill them with little difficulty. They're more dangerous when partnered with other mobs, in which case you should just circle around so the skeleton shoots his buddies instead of you.
Anyone know if this mod is reliable? http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1406757-132-v11-marble-tools-and-blocks-mod/ I know I could just download Red Power or something for Marble, but I really don't need the rest of the stuff it comes with.

I'm having too much fun.
So in about 6 hours of playing the Technic Pack, I did the following: Built a house. Made a bed. Mined for 4 hours straight, acquiring several chests worth of loot including 8 diamonds, 3 tungsten and about 12 uranium. Set up an automatic macerating > smelting system. Made an energy condenser using 7 of the 8 diamonds, then acquired 12 more diamonds by converting all of my useless shit with the condenser And then I made a quarry with my new found wealth. So I basically started the downfall of the environment, in one night. And I still have plenty of resources to make another quarry, especially since I'm going to get a lot of useless stuff from my first quarry. By the way, is there a way to set it up so I can keep all un-macerated ore in the same chest going to the same macerator, without it popping out when theres another ore being smelted? Just seems like with all the work that's been put into this collaboration that it would've been thought of and implemented.
Use insertion pipes and make them go in a loop problem solved, it'll keep looping til its able to be macerated
So we can now customize flatworlds. What's the first thing I think of? [t]http://puu.sh/14WtI[/t]
Stone dynamite stone? if that's the case how does it not just explode for ever and ever, does it only explode dynamite in the loaded chunk?
Does anyone have a good large biome seed featuring an archipelago or island group in the middle of a big ocean? Thinking about making a themed city/village but I kinda need the island to build it on first.
Stone dynamite stone? if that's the case how does it not just explode for ever and ever, does it only explode dynamite in the loaded chunk?
It'd definitely dynamite, look in the left corner. And it only explodes if the chunk is loaded.

Wow wow wait a minute, how does this flat world customization thing work?
Cactus Cactus Cactus Cactus Cactus Sand Leaves
I tried cactus once, however minecraft crashed rather quickly when I broke one.
Wow wow wait a minute, how does this flat world customization thing work?
From the wiki:
At a future point there is expected to be some way of choosing block types merely by selecting them from a menu. For now, you must type in a correctly-formatted preset code. The code is a string of numbers, semicolons, colons, commas, and lowercase "x"s. Each code has three main parts, divided by semicolons: a version number (used to allow preset codes to be shared even if the code format changes), a block mask, and a biome ID. The block mask is a comma-separated list of block IDs, ordered from layer 0 up; if the entry for a given block has an "x", the number before the "x" is the number of layers to be generated, and the number after is the block ID. A block ID can be followed by a colon to specify a damage value. For example, consider the preset code 1;48,250x0,49,78:2;8 It consists of the following elements: 1 – version number. 48,250x0,49,78:2 – comma-separated list of block IDs. ......48 – one layer of Mossy Cobblestone on layer 0. ......250x0 – 250 layers of air, from layer 1 to layer 250. ......49 – one layer of obsidian, on layer 251. ......78:2 – one layer of thicker-than-usual snow, on layer 252. 8 – biome ID, in this case Nether. A block can also be repeated over multiple layers simply by repeating the block's ID, e.g. 20,20,20,20 would give the same result as 4x20. The Player will spawn on the topmost solid layer, and will spawn under water or lava if there are layers of those above the topmost solid layer.
Is there a way to make the game less CPU-intensive? I at least know that 2.3GHz is not enough for now, even with OptiFine. Full resolution: 300x200. 20FPS. Same framerate at 1600x900. Tiny rendering distance my blistered butt!
From the wiki:
And where do you put this code?
Stone dynamite stone? if that's the case how does it not just explode for ever and ever, does it only explode dynamite in the loaded chunk?
I used the string: 1;7,16x1,46,16x1,5x3,2;1 I then loaded every single chunk when I spawned. After every chunk was loaded, I went into nbtedit and changed the string to 1;7,16x1,1,16x1,5x3,2;1 (change tnt to stone). While I was there, I disabled the gamerule: doTileDrops. I then went into mcedit and removed any excess chunks (like those random singular chunks that generate for seemingly no reason). Finally, I detonated one tnt block and waited. I still have a couple more blocks to detonate.
