Quest over.[/QUOTE] I've had my netherportal spawn right on top of two interconnected nether fortresses. I've also had worlds where nether fortresses just do not exist.

Only 4. Also harvested some wheat, and continued work on my observation tower.

I never find diamond anywhere. Out of the dozen maps I've explored and dug through, I've found maybe 10 total?

On the note of rarity, best way to find emeralds (if you're dying to find them) is too obviously find a mountain biome, then find a mineshaft below it. So many emeralds.

anyone know of any tutorials that can help me build cool thigns in minecraft? all i seem to be able to do in this game is mine and craft. i want to build things.
